Playing truth jenga with my boyfriend

If there's ever a time to get honest, it's Christmas.
WATCH THE MISERYMAS SERIES: • MISERY-MAS with Leena
JOIN THE GUMPTION CLUB: / thegumptionclub
Being in the club means you get: a free weekly podcast, access to a secret facebook group, a free poetry collection and play written by me, access to livestreams AND you get to access to all my videos before anyone else sees them!
Today, I am coaxing some truths out of my boyfriend the only way I know how: making a custom 'Truth Jenga' tower and asking him to play it with me ON camera and spill his deepest darkest secrets.
Join us for a chill game, where we pour our heart out to one another whilst trying not to knock the Jenga tower over - as is tradition at christmas time.
Featuring:
Why Craig would face swap with the cast of Normal People
What we lie about the most
What Leena would do with £1,000,000 (it's not what you think)
What one thing would we change about ourselves (and each other)
The best memes of all time

The song at my nan’s funeral as she went on the conveyor to be cremated was dancing queen by Abba because she was ALWAYS dancing. If someone’s phone rang she would get up and dance to it 😂 her son’s chose it, and when it played we all just burst out laughing and had a little boogie in our seats for her. It was PERFECT

I'm 100% with Craig on the reading the right book thing. I just finished listening to La Belle Sauvage on audiobook. I read His Dark Materials in what was probably my favourite age of reading (10-14), and listening to Michael Sheen narrate a story I hadn't heard yet but which felt so familiar felt like remembering myself again.

Watching from my sofa in Republic of Ireland, we moved here 3 weeks ago from London. You may both be pleased to know that because ROI is part of the Common Travel Area, no visa or fussy paperwork is required to move to Ireland :). Aside from sorting health insurance and other general bills, you basically sort out a place to live (easier said than done - there is a housing crisis) then rock up and settle down. We only hold British passports, hoping to get Irish citizenship after a few years.

I know it massively depends on location but there is no way a normal sized house costs £1m, in the north west where I'm pretty sure the average house price is between £200k and £300k. I believe it is similar in the north east, Wales and Scotland too. London (and other big cities) house prices are just so distorting but actually a mil will still go a long way in my hometown! Loved Craig's advice about the 2 major fuck-ups that help shape you for the better (because I too had those types of fuck-ups): Even though my theoretical driver's exam was aced with flying colours on the first try, I failed the practical driver's exam at least 4 times. Additionally, I was in a toxic relationship for a year, which kick-started my campaign to actually respect & fight for my own boundaries and value myself more on a whole.
