mmmm yeh. butttt.... if Felix trains at this for a year with the same passion and intensity he does at tennis. He'll be a lot closer to Ben's level than Ben will be to Felix's level at tennis if it was the other way round.

Search for Ben and watch him playing at full pelt, it’s a very different game from what was demonstrated here… can hardly see the ball on YT because of the pace.

Great change of scenery, love how your still sliding even on unconventional surfaces

The extra muscle that Felix carries probably isn't the best for a sport like this where you have to extremely light on your feet. Interesting video and I would love to try this out.

Felix, I'm very jealous of your quads. Also, I think that Felix found a good strategy that others could use against Ben. Those touch drop shots were giving him a bunch of trouble.

I used to play this at school and it's insanely difficult. Once you get the hang of it it's so enjoyable though. The amount of bounce, and the speed of the bounce, takes so much getting used to. Compared to tennis where, even on the fastest surfaces, the ball still decelerates when it bounces the conservation of momentum is really weird until you learn how to handle it.

I would love to see Felix giving Real Tennis a go. Another really fascinating game with a lot of similarities to tennis but a huge number of differences too.

A great game and an excellent opportunity to tune up positioning at a face pace, tough work trying to be in the right place for the ball, just like tennis :)

@@stevemclean7473 Depends on how you define "fast" ... time between shots or speed of the object. Badminton is the fastest object (although, maybe this is faster now since it's basically a badminton racket and a smaller object).

I wish Ben had played a few points at full pace. I was a talented squash player and would've liked to have seen the comparison in styles/strategies in this game. I also wish Felix had unleashed a few proper overhead serves tennis style. That would've been deadly.

@@TooStrongPlayerExceptionnah I’ve played both quite a lot, the rackets courts is about 2.5 times larger than squash and the ball is wooden with tape surrounding it. 100% a faster game than squash, especially at higher levels

@@TooStrongPlayerException I've played both, and this is so much harder. You can't hit off the back wall in this game, the umpire shouts play after every shot, and the speed is ridiculous. By far the most fun racket sport around, but unbelievably dangerous

Tom is the current world champion but Ben is the current world number one on the Elite Rankings (ranking system for the top tournaments, bit like ATP but decays over 2 years instead of 1.) Ben will challenge tom for the World title in April across 2 stages, one in Chicago, and the other here at Queens in the UK.

interesting game and sport, but definately not the fastest sport, maximum shuttle speed produced by badminton player reached 493km/h under experimental condition and over 400km/h during actual game. Can't see how will the racket ball achieve that speed.
