NICE I HOPE YOU CONTINUE YOUR TRILOGY HIKARU😊

I'm so happy for this collab cause these are literally the only two games I have on my phone. I also often think about how IMHO clash royale is modern day chess: 1) 90/95% of the merits/faults are on you for winning/losing (very little luck involved), 2) the obvious reasons of both being 1v1 live games, 3) the chessy field in clash royale, 4) similarities between pieces/cards and their functioning, 5) king's defence is the basis for both 6) live thinking and predictions of your opp moves/plays is a very very similar thought pattern in your brain. Main difference is no having "turns" in CR but that's what makes CR the "modern" chess. I think with a little of practice and study chess GM would definitely be top CR players!

As a Clash Royal player, the video is simply a must! Fortunately Hikaru does not (yet) play Clash Royal... with his tactics and his speed and precision (through bullet) he would otherwise probably destroy everyone after 1-2 months

Well probably not because speed really isn't needed in cash Royale and the fact of the matter is clash Royale and chess aren't very closely related at all from a gameplay standpoint

@@ireallydontknow278 Of course, speed and accuracy (especially in fast cycles and in the 2 or 3 time elexier phase) are of enormous importance. In addition, both games require a strategic understanding and also the classic values of the figures/troops the momentum and in the figurative sense "gambits" can be transferred to CR. It is far from the same but I think as a (very good) chess player you have great advantages over complete beginners.

Would be cool to see more videos of Archer Queen and you beating her. I use to play Clash Royale, Archer Queen has the ability to cloak for a short time and increase attack speed of her crossbow. I've beaten 2300 bot a couple times and 2200 bot a few times so I'm sure I could beat Pekka 2200 bot. But I won't have any chance vs Archer Queen 2900.

its crazy to see how "perfect" chess will pretty much always end in a draw, if both players play the best moves, which is crazy to me because these GMs can play against such skilled bots playing almost perfect moves every time and consistently get a draw, and have a slight chance at winning even. obv not even this bot played the best move every time but its definitely highly skilled
