This is exactly what I was gonna comment. Beating the region and then going back to the one I started at years before almost like a new game + felt amazing. Plus there's literally nothing in any of the games that comes close to being as cool as the Red trainer battle So I'll say on top of being able to continue through older regions, battling their main characters would be the best

Imagine beating a new region. Only to get invited to orre. You proceed to get jumped. your pokemon are gone. You're given an eevee and take down cipher. The bosses have your pokemon as shadow pokemon.

This would be totally doable on the Switch, and each region could be a DLC. Honestly I'd happily pay $10 per region if we could get that. A minor story line, getting the badges, a very limited regional dex and a legendary from the region

Yes mega Pokémon should be back, but Pokémon size scaling should return too.

Think I'd prefer Dyna/gigantamax if for no other reason than you don't need to find specific items per Pokémon to do it like megas aaaand you don't have to take up their held item slots to use it

Hey, as someone who has played Pokemon XD: Gale Of Darkness and XG: Next Gen several times on an emulator, it actually IS possible to exit the purification chamber! You can press B while viewing the holograms, then press "no" when they ask if you wanna continue viewing them. If you are editing the sets, you can also press B, then press "no" when they ask if you wanna continue editing the sets and then exit through the hologram menu. I use an old logitech controller, but binding B on your keyboard and then doing these same steps, should work too! I'm sorry that you had to put yourself through the pain of manual purification, though.

I didn't know there was a rom hack of this game out! This will be fun to watch, that's for sure.

Id really love to see megas come back as well and honestly really hope that tera types stay for the next game as well.. It has been one of the most interesting things for pvp. Megas are also just such a cool way to breathe new life into older pokemon so it would be really nice to have back.

30:53 Indeed, totally the one of the coolest part of the good movie. Imagine an Rom hack where you could get them, and they do in fact change the mon to look less friendly and even make it stronger than when you caught it. The downside tho would be to make them less likely to follow your orders, the higher level you capture, the more likely they'll disobey. Until an certain point in the story/game to upgrade the balls to not have that drawback

Being able to travel Back to different regions would be so good. Maybe they can spend a few years on one massive game that covers all of the old regions with a new story and gym leaders, but also having old characters make a reappearance (like red)

First zwiggo you make fantastic content. Second I would love to see mega evos again, specially with split mega evos, where a pokemon gets a new type and new abillity.

I think shadow pokemon was a really cool idea and I wouldn't mind them bringing that back. Also for a special Halloween video, you could do a ghost and dark type only run of any game you want

Hi, I remember that I played this version and there was orre colosseum, with new teams and using strats from later gens, very hard, never finished bc I get tired of grinding hahaha, but highly recommend this mod also!

I'm interested in watching this but I haven't played either Colosseum or XD Gale of Darkness, but I've purchased both recently. After I play through them I'll come back and watch this. See you in a few weeks or so o/

I wish they would bring back hard mode, but that we could choose at the front. How I think it should go is that the game should ask if you have beaten a Pokemon game before, let you choose, and then adjust strats or even just the levels of the bosses.

Did you notice Blastoise's cannons are hidden most the time in this game, it looks weird as hell. Also I really want them to bring back proper post-games, get so let down when there's basically nothing to do once you beat the game.

As a kid I wanted to play Gale of Darkness so bad, but I didn't have a gamecube. I'd love if it got a switch port.

I would love another Shadow Pokemon story, Pokemon Colosseum is my favorite Pokemon game and Pokemon XD is an enhancement on what Pokemon Colosseum did, well besides the protagonist, Wess is such a cool mc. I also love that the game revolves around double battles which are more interesting than singles.

It be either Shadow pokemon, or mega evolution (love that Digimon reference). Preferably both. Poketekken did a great job with Shadow Mewtwo!

This is what I want them to bring back. XD is my favorite Pokémon game and I love the shadow Pokémon mechanic. Them making a GameCube emulator or a whole remaster Idc. I would just like to see a remaster of these games or a third one.

for the qotd i think i will add the shadow pokemon back beacuse the only 3 games that have shadow mons in it are not from the main line series games, and those are collosium, XD and Pokemon go

One thing to note is that the creator removed the shiny lock from the shadow mons and I believe the odds are 1/200 but you can't hunt all of them since their stats,gender,nature and shinyness stays the same when its with mirror B

18:50 I was part of the discord server for this rom hack, but it was more so a discord for Game Cube and wii pokemon Game hacking. I kept an eye on it for the longest time, every so often I'd drop in and be like, "Have we figured out how to get custom models in the game yet?" So I don't know if these are custom models or if they just duplicated the entries and added custom textures to it (which seems more likely). Either way I'm excited to see it as well.

I would bring back something small. Having the Checkpoints for badges before you enter Victory Road. (It’s the little things)

I think the new Pokémon Games should Focus more on the Story Aspects. There are so much room for this new setting with a school, like learning the concepts of evolution and the natural environments and the reasons. Why we should learn this stuff and the Importance of nature an the role we play in it. I like every story of the pokemom games so far but I think it make a step like Arceus but even further and hit the Nail in the Wood.

The Orre region was based off Phoenix, Arizona.

When I played this rom hack a couple months ago I think I remember that bug with the purify chamber, I think u have to change the aspect ratio or smth to see the exit button, or maybe you forgot to bind that button (Z I think?)

Zwiggo... You can access the purification machine through the PC. You don't have to enter it to use it. 😅 I've never used that method, I always just used the PC, and it always worked fine for me. (I've also played XG on an emulator)

Try Pokemon Rouge Emerald, it's the most fun i've had on a Pokemon game for a while now.

If I could bring back something from previous generations, it would be the entire Battle Frontier. It always bugged the hell out of me when gamefreak said we were getting the battle frontier, only for it to be one facility.

The Purifying chamber works for me tho on Dolphin emulator for both regular and romhack XD so i don't think its an emulator issue

One thing I would like is for perfect shadow Pokémon like shadow lugia to come back and have a game where you beat cipher by snagging Pokémon. The perfect shadow Pokémon would have a shadowy design and there would be a trio of legendaries with the box art legendaries and probably (not shadow) Celebi and a different shadow mythical maybe Mew
