This game puts into perspective what an experienced player can teach a new player the Izmail I actually enjoyed this boat everyone knows if you go broadside in an Izmail you die it’s that simple you angle and you know what you’re doing it’s very good great game Spartan can’t wait for the Lyon game I was with you on that one

Izmail is one of those ships that are fun as a Brawler. Goin 28knts, is nice

Commanders are nice but experience is what actually matters most in this game.

I remember my first outing in this game was an absolute mess. I had no clue how to play, and there were no tutorials in game to help. Sure shooting at the AI can be a somewhat helpful way to get your feet wet (no pun intended), but it's hardly an intuitive experience. It wasn't until I found some channels on youtube that I started to understand how to play. Certainly experience counts for a lot in any game, but it's hard to gain that experience when the game itself doesn't really offer any insights into its own mechanics. As far as I'm concerned, channels likes yours and TBull's were literal game changers for me, and if WG would put even a fraction of what I've learned watching both of your channels into their game for newer players to digest, I feel like the start wouldn't be so bumpy for them. I sure know I would have appreciated a little in the way of a safety net just starting out. Keep up the good work.

Dude, Izmail slaps, deadly broadside and at Tier 5 it's fun to actually run.

Currently watching my team melt like butter because EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE but a Kagero and a v. Veneto all migrated to one side of the map meanwhile the whole WHOLE enemy team came to my side and brutally destroyed my flank

So far the highest number of kills I had in the game (8!!!) was while playing Izmail.

Suggestion for you Spartan, Since you don't need XBL Gold to play Free Games anymore, why not make a new account and stream it once a week? then you can do it while grinding with your platoonmate.

Must admit I often wish, when you showcase a ship, that you'd show base commander setups as an alternative to the 'specialists' you often use and which most people don't possess.

If you dig through his videos a little more he does do that. I've yet to find a ship that he hasn't done at least one video on, showing free to play commander builds for ships - premium as well as tech tree. There's "path to" and "meet the" series for each line. The meet the series varies from 4yo to current and the path to series is a bit newer overall. Plus sometimes he throws in a build setup on other videos too. General rule of thumb though, IMO, is you've got 3 commanders for each nation and that's pretty much it. You're going to use the same BB commander for every ship in the line for whatever nation it is, cruiser and DD is the same way. There's outliers, sure. Like the German BBs, the ones with OK secondaries you'll run Von Hipper and focus dispersion/main guns and the more secondary specialized ships (think 7km range and up, most of your premium BBs basically) you'll use Otto because porcupine and such. American BBs will always be Sims, cruisers you'll use Scott with reload and dispersion inspirations etc. But yeah! Happy hunting! 🙌

@@Lord_Pistachio_Nut thanks for that, I have indeed been watching the streams for years and can't think of any 'meet the' vids I haven't watched for setup inspiration and opinions on each ships worth, I also have all stock and some 'special' commanders' at levels that suit me. That being said, the recent 'Meet the Constellation" vid had Azur Scharnhorst as inspiration and I was merely suggesting that in these cases an alternative always be offered to suit newer players with only stock commanders.

Another great video keep em coming spartan. BTW I've finally got Montana and kanasa had some very good games in them

I absolutely hated the izmail when I first played it non stop getting citadel hit and ruined then I stopped sailing directly broadside across the map I started creeping around islands taking nasty shots that were absolutely disgusting the next thing I knew I was getting 130k+ games and even managed to get a quacken

ah Izmail the ship that gave me my first Kraken, after i had to survive 10mins as the only blue vs 7 reds. ended up slappin 4 Cruisers (2 D.Strikes) and cripple their Fuso, who then dissapeared for the rest of the match, and the Kraken pulled after their Dallas 1HP rammed me like 20 seconds before timer ran out. so yea 1.7k Base XP on a Loss, first ever Kraken, 2 devstrikes, high cal, confed and iirc Top 5 overall Scoreboard. I'd say she's basically a T5 Russian Amagi, tons of guns, can be quite trolly but when she hits, she be slappin harder than the Great Depression

This game wasnt like this before, i got used to dev strike everything broadside. Now u can dev strike rarely something u get 1 cita maybe sometimes 2. rng sucks everyday some days your ship shot like sniper other day same ship dispersion like shotgun.

Holy Fucking shit @spartanelite43 I swear for the longest time, I really thought I was the only person who thought HEY 2 caps are right next to to each other. Why not the entire team wouldn't go for 2 caps right next to each other naaaaahhhhhhh. Let everyone split for the 2 furtherst caps Omfg

I wish you could have had the chance to play the Imperator Nikolai, it is the premium version of this ship. The big difference is it has almost no superstructure, so all the turrets can do a full 360 degree rotation. That means you can turn port and starboard and the guns are always on target, you don't have to wait for them to rotate around. A friend let me log into his account and play it, and it was like being a terminator. I waded through the enemy team, killing with impunity and there was nothing they could do about it.

LOL, Your commentary on shots and when to take them... I see you read my comments on Opies video, hehehe. I will be clear on something, my comments are my opinions so it doesn't mean I am right or wrong. WOWS Legends may play differently than the PC version, so my opinions could in fact be wrong.

Good players will still play well in basic ships with basic commanders. Bad players will still play terribly with the best ships in the game, fully maxed out with the highest level commanders.

Having max or high concealment is really hard on new players. BB accuracy is also tough on the noobs. (I don't have much rum to talk lol ) Just hang out in T-3.....thats the most funnest tier.

Really? I HATE t3 lol. The matches are over in 4 mins usually and half of each team does nothing but carrier hunt themselves to death 😂😂 T5 is my personal favorite tier. Usually decent players but no map huggers like t7 on up lol

No, the rule you are thinking of is in regards to paying people to grind your ships or buying an account... I've never had any issues with WG for sharing when someone is visiting or something like that

I hate stock grind forever get a higher tier then grind all over again to get back to where you were

*mid level commander you mean /LVL11 is mid, LVL4 is low level/ I play like this 99% of the times, with stock ships, and "low level" commanders, coz average players dont buy commander xp and dont spend global xp on ship upgrades Soon I will get the Izmail too, I hope she is as much fun as Bayern

@@SpartanElite43 the only reason I knew is Op posted a video about you playing her boats.. you (Op) were the first spotted on the reds and got focused pretty badly and went down fast. I was in a Russian premium and set a fire on u right b4 u went down. Set fire as I saw a Salvo take u down..

Free crates from missions as well as in the store commanders tab you can buy base commanders with commander xp
