Since you wanted a suggestion for part 3 - do a reverse of the Century of Humiliation. Take treaty ports in the major European powers, break them apart, and in general just muck up Europe and make it pain for them. That's really the only thing I can think to do besides more of the same.

One of the new missions added for the emperor of China allows you to either spawn or passively generate the printing press actually! I just think it’s pretty late in the tree so it’s usually already been developed by the player at that point unless you rush the mission

the natural goal would be WC and Confucius OF at this point

For part 3: tributary all of Europe for the giggles 🤭

I would say you got two choices for an end game goal. One is lore/flavour, dominate the silk road all the way as far west as you can go. Or you can use your colonial empire as an excuse to just steal the end trade nodes. Flex that power. Revenge for the Opium wars that never happened in a few hundred years time from now! (ingame)

In Years of Rice and Salt (alt-history novel by Kim Stanley Robinson) Qing colonizes all of the pacific and the pacific coast of the Americas and then has a 100-year war in India. Could try doing that.

Go for Mare Nostrum, but with the Pacific Ocean. Whole west coast of America, plus all of South East Asia that you haven't already gotten.

Fun fact: the first ever used paper money was used in ancient china. so yes, they kinda did already have the printing press ages before Europe.

a good way to deal with government capacity issues is grabbing the gov reform that makes centralizing land refund 50% of the cost, and with tributaries being quite power that they can give you tons of mana (especially admin if you have enough of 'em. meaning even artificial tributaries like opms client states that were made independant are super helpful) you can repeatingly centralize land until you cant do it any further, which is I think 5 times. makes provinces incredibly cheap and paired with other gov capacity reductions. almost free in most cases. or so cheap its barely a dent.

The claims on the philipines for qing are likely to be in reference to chinese trade expansion in maritime southeast asia during that time period.

As colonial qing in EUIV, take nepal, songhai, and prussia as marches and then declare on the ottomans. You can pass off indian, african, and european provinces respectively to save gov cap Also take full custody of North America, South America, and Australia, cause you're basically doing that already Alternatively, become Holy Roman Emperor

as chinook, conquer all provinces that touch the pacific ocean. call it the salmon run

For Part III, revolt as Manchu Mexico, grow into a New World superpower, then cross back into Asia and defeat Super Qing

working toward that likegoal, my recommendation for part three: You've already got a colonial empire, which is basically the trade path, so I say take indochina and indonesia, especially malacca, 100% the trade there and just go for maximum cash. You're probably not going to get an end node, so just keep filtering everything east from the americas and east asia and find the spot where you can 100% the node and collect it all.

I want a part 3! I you can conquere al the Americas and trying to develop all your lands at the same time!

So i did a korea into manchu into qing run. First time playing as emperor of china. Juggling that low mandate debuff with wars are fun. First few years, they are hosing your troops. Mandate gets backs to 50 and its over. I only took colonialism to get some provinces in the new world but no cn. About a hundred years before i took exploration, i spotted the incan empire being eateb by Spain with Portugal approaching. I guaranteed them and forgot about it. A hundred years later and they have reclaimed their territory abd removed the Europeans from the west coast

Finish the mission tree and grab all thr China chievos you can. Maybe WC for the blesings honor

For part 3, just go and conquer the most you can of the world, i know you can probaly pull a WC up.

If not you could see if the league war is starting and join that for fun

You definitely should take any trade income from Europeans in part 3 without "intervening" on Europe itself. Collect all trade from India in Kilwa node, Middle East etc. Make China Universalis and make Europe isolated as much as possible.
