some may wonder why he didnt just file a police report, personally, i think thats apart of the deeper lore of the papaverse. i think the store has mob ties and are holding the instruments for ransom. why? because the player character took a loan to buy the instruments in the first place. why else would he take his instruments in the truck and run? but, he was too slow. his past caught up with him and if he wants to survive (and receive his instruments) he'll have to pay back his loan... and the only way is to work for the renowned criminal food chain overlord Papa.
