There is plenty of distortion in this video... I don't care how it sounded through your headphones... you've never heard clean bass before if you think there was no Distortion in this video. 😂 it doesn't help that KZread compresses the sbit out of your videos, but the mic wasn't capable of picking up that decibel range at that frequency.

With good enough headphones you SHOULD be able to feel the sub-bass. That's the whole point. If you can *hear* the bass/sub then the mix will feel flat.

I use to have a wall in my closet of 16 speaker sets highs and mids and 2 12's in my room all wired with car amplifiers a couple batteries a couple caps and a battery charger in the corner. My 60 disc cd changer was in the middle of the closet on a shelf. A speaker fell off the wall and broke the main computer board in the stereo, then my mom gave me her Panasonic stereo stack from 89 to run it and i fell asleep after school with it bumping and woke up to my dad slamming the door and all the pictures and anything on the walls was on the floor and he made me take the subs out. My parents know when I come to visit before I get there from my 2 15's and 6,000 watts bumping as I roll up. My dad couldn't believe the 0 guage wiring set up in my car.

I did the big 3 upgrade. My dad drove across the US to give me a winter car. I wanted to fresh re do the grounds. Dad couldn't find the alternator. You have to take supercharger stuff out to get access. #rockford phosgate #kenwood

They sure do look cool firing out into the room like that but have tried turning them around and have them facing the wall? If not then you should give it a try sometime. Leave a good 3 to 4 inches between the woofer and the wall or aim into a corner. Depends on your room but we have seen dramatic increases in SPL while reducing cone flutter along with port noise. I’ve got leg on my JL 12w3 at the moment so it fires down to the floor and the side port is aimed into a corner. I found it picked up a lot all through the frequency response range. Just sharing my experience, not telling you what’s best for you or nothing. Either way, have fun and keep us updated as your setup evolves!
