Honkai Impact is basically DMC x Bayonetta's child in terms of game system, Style and dodge with STYLE(time fracture)~ Souls games are basically slash once, then wait for a minute to attack again while dodging(drinking potion if you suck at dodging)~

I've only tried hsr once but I can relate to that, because that is exactly what happened in fgo back in the day. I sometimes switched back to normal speed so that 2x speed would feel fast again

Luna can easily tank that ice thingy by using Frenzy mode, the freezing won't affect you since it's starting animations until the double slash ends have I-frames~ Also, lighting trauma, ice trauma and any type of movement impair except time fracture won't affect Luna at all while double slashing in Frenzy mode(mashing weapon skill)~ *Veteran Teri Main Captain, btw~*

I swear to God, Kevin's Boss fight in ER is like they learned a lesson with Elysia's one on how to make a Boss that brings suffering and they passed with merit on this subject

no not really. the problem with elysia isnt that shes easy, its just new valkyries nowadays have a shitton of i-frames in ER. try using adult griseo's combo spam /any of the older valks that has no I-frames, and i guarantee you, elysia can stunlock you if you're not careful. if you drag the fight long enough with lacking dps, she can spawn 3 crystal pillars that WILL stunlock you. elysia was released as a boss back in 5.0, which is when valkyries were lacking in i-frames lol. not to mention they nerfed ER a shitton. if you were playing D-150 against elysia, unless you have an SSS flamescion or SSS S rank valkyrie that was released, fighting elysia was impossible.

And while I didn't know It was cuz of frames that she is more digestible by New valks, I know that (about her regen and stunlock); I never could've done her in the original ER. At the most PE (my best valk at the time) could help me but in way Power than 100. Having the trouble of her horse missing the target on Elysia made It even more hellish. My main problem, though, was her capacity to insta kill me If I slightly delayed my performance, and How she regened. Whenever I Lost It, It was either cuz of lack of defense and she killing me, or lack of dmg in a tarde out for defense - couldn't smack her fast enough and boom, she regened and the fight ended with 6hp still left to kill. But I don't see why this means Kevin isn't hard (actually I don't understand what you're trying to say regarding him). Anyway, I suffered with him even with current valks and buff system reworked. 1 - cuz having to stand still and wait for his attacks costs too much time I needed to damage him and thus same issue: I survive, but don't kill him. Not only that, it's hella annoying to make a evasion count, and I'll be honest, I never understood why some did and others didn't. Or 2 - he can dmg me even in frames some Bosses can't, even with relatively New valks, and be kept one shotting my ass. I can't say for sure which made me suffer more cuz If recency Bias; could be Just that Kevin was the most recent and I forgot Ely's suffering in time. But either way, I had the impression I more on him at the end of the day. Specially cuz after the rework and HoH, Elysia was doable. But Kevin made me remember the old ER in the Sense I experience simmilar rushes of adrenaline with him like I hadn't in a while ever since doing Elysia 24th. But what really gave me this feeling that he was worse at the end of It all, was that It seemed I took way more time and tried to get his emblem. I wasted a Lot of runs only to find that the disconnection between him and the 17th flor Boss was huge and that I sometimes had no way to measure halfway in a run or at least in the 17th floor If the build I got would suffice; only by fighting him I noticed. Made me wish there was a training lobby like in Arena where you can train before going all out.

Same. I just started playing Star Rail but I've already felt like that on other rpgs. I always only ever activate 2x for grinding or regular enemy fights I've fought several times already, otherwise for bosses and enemies I'm fighting for the first few times, I always leave the games at normal speed

1x speed for HSR is really slow. But I turn to x1 speed whenever SUShang turn came up because I like her full "Let me through, or I'll go through you!" line.
