To elaborate a little about Typhon, from what I remember he was a part of Gaia’s plan to get revenge on Zeus and the Olympians for banishing the Titans(her children) to Tartarus. She created Typhon, and Typhon challenged Zeus for the throne. He was much stronger than the Olympians so he actually won, and for a while he ruled over Olympus. But a few of the gods came up with a plan to poison him, and he fought Zeus again while he was poisoned. The poison put him and Zeus on equal grounds, but Typhon was no longer confident. On the other hand, Zeus was more confident than ever and he managed to beat Typhon to reclaim the thrown. He’s actually a really cool character in Greek mythology so I agree that it’s a shame we didn’t get more of him in God of War

I think the Ptolomaics had their version where the Olympians fled to Egypt and became gods of that land. Plutoun/Hades became Osiris and Persephone or Hera became Isis and Helios became Ra and so on

10:21 - 12:35 I think you were talking about me. And I did comment it on your GOW 3 discoveries part 2. You have a really good point. The more I read your reply and the more I listened to this segment, the more I realized that there is no need for guides. It all just comes from experience, experimentation, and just watching other experienced players. I mean, you even said it yourself how I learned new things by just watching you and other gow youtubers, and you are right. This makes me appreciate GOW even more than I already did. Like you said, it's pure freedom. No need to restrict yourself to just one two or three combos, no need to rely on just one weapon. It is all to your hearts content. Your only limit is your imagination. At first I felt like it was a little frustrating how there were some weapons I didn't use often, if not at all during my playthroughs, like the blade of Artemis in 1, the barbarian hammer in 2, and the nemesis whip or claws of hades in 3. That was mainly because either 1, the weapon felt a little trash to me at first, or 2, I just didn't know what to do with it and what was it good for, which is why I suggested the guide to begin with. I always felt that those underused weapons had some hidden potential I didn't see at first until my second playthrough and when I started watching you and other GOW youtubers. For example, during my second playthrough of 1, I realized that the blade had more utility than I gave it credit for. Same goes for the spear in 2, and the nemesis whip and claws in 3. The only one that I still don't understand is the hammer in 2, but maybe I just need to experiment with it a little more. Thank you for addressing my comment. I honestly didn't even expect it; and thank you for opening my eyes more on the true nature of the God of war games. Seriously, these are more than just games. They are ART.

Anytime brother With the barbarian hammer you can really get creative with it, as it does great damage and is used for a lot of optimal plays in serious runs No evading? Use typhon's bane i frames. Strong enemy with a lot of HP? It has your back. Wanna whale on some bosses? You got it. I recommend you use the typhon's bane i frames the most, the moment you start using it and utilizing it in your big encounter you'll know what i'm talkin bout. It's soooo good.

I wish I was as good as you Zesty, you’ve inspired me so much to even start up my own channel; it isn’t only god of war but I would like it to be but I’m not good enough for that. You did get me to record and post my first attempt ever of god of war 3 on very hard mode, and like you said about learning the game; the exact same thing happened with your videos. I played god of war 2 and 3 a lot in my life and I never really got better than I already was until I found your channel and watched your videos Zesty, I just watch you play and I just try to learn what I see.

At an hour your talk about the Orion’s harpoon is a life saver, I was wondering why gow 3 the harpoon seemed really hard to connect. God of war 3 is just so crazy and so detailed you always gotta be on your toes and ready to be perfect or you’ll fail.

Zesty, you can somewhat redirect OH in Ghost of Sparta. You need to turn the analog stick just a little to the side when you press circle.

30 minutes of GoW 2018 is like 29 minutes of cinematics, 45 seconds of straight line walking, and 15 seconds of combat

Yo Zesty I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I really enjoy them! But I have a question, are you playing Chains of Olympus and ghost of Sparta on old gen PS3 or what are you using? They removed both the games on PS Now so I haven’t been able to play them, really bummed out about that.

Video idea even though you mentioned you don’t have that same motive for top 5’s but I’m gonna say it anyways… Top 5 2nd boss fight in the GOW series.

39:22 This is a great ideia, i generaly avoid using the "L1+" attacks in Very Hard for How much easy is to you to get interruptor because you can't defend or Dodge during the animation, quite frankly i would prefer If you could cancel them altogheter, i even think that in GOW4 that you get super armor as you do them is a better incentive tô use them than the way they're handdled in the classics (also a Guy in KZread called Black Dante IS modding cancels in God Of War 1 like canceling Rage of Gods and the animation of activating the Blade Of Artemis to make the combat more fluid)

Im assuming that you dont have a problem with gow 1 not having ng+ is because orion’s harpoon is redirectable and therefore collisions are easier and/or r1 shoulder ram

Gow1 is way better without NG+ Actually now since my play style kinda changed. I'm fine without NG+ on all of them EXCEPT 3. Becuz it's fun to go all out with ALL the tools in 3.

@@begito9024 idk. That seems like constant chipping away at enemies. There is No Upgrade Run+ No Grab Run+ But even then, you have the option for knockbacks (half collisions), stripping that away wouldn't be that much fun.

GOW chains and ghost were amazing for a psp game, but as a console game its not very good Very short mostly depending on how fast you play 2-3 hours maybe, long drawn out puzzles, also areas that overstay their welcome, and everything else you mentioned Chains of olympus is the entire late part of hell and deeper hell place Ghost of spart areas is destroyed poseiden temple and thanatos place, hate these places

Now give us the NEXT 30 minutes :)
