    Dom9 pentatonic Some call it mixolydian pentatonic and others call it dominant pentatonic. That and the other scale 1 3 4 5 b7. I personally call 1 2 3 5 b7 Dominant pentatonic. Either way, it's dominant 9.

    Cool idea! I use this scale a lot! You could do the same thing with the Kumoi scale on the 5 or b2 of the dominant. Cheers!
