Playing 100 LockPickingLawyer Videos at the same Time

CONTAINS INTROS + OUTROS! (According to youtube stats, lots of people only watched the intros, probably because the chapters didn't make it clear there are outros too. Changed the chapters now so hopefully fewer people miss the best parts.)
I've always kinda admired LPL's meticulously consistent speech patterns, and the idea for this video has lived in the back of my head for a long time. Finally, I conquered laziness and the fear of frying my 2015 notebook and brought the vision to life.
The video consists of LPL's [1000] to [1099], in order from left to right and then from top to bottom. I downloaded them in 360p with the help of the Firefox browser extension "Easy KZread Video Download Express". Originally I wanted to not do any adjustments at all, but the outcome was just a bunch of incomprehensible gibberish, and so I was forced to tweak the timings a bit. I synced the "this"s in the intros and the "subscribe"s in the outro by visually comparing the audio wave forms in the editor and slightly shifting them together, which created a relatively cohesive result.
As an introduction to the concept there's 2x20 seconds of 4 videos, followed by 2x30 seconds of 16 videos to build up tension before the grand finale, which is 2x40 seconds of 100 videos.
Despite being not even four minutes long, this video took almost 4 hours to render and pushed my poor notebook to its thermal limits (💻=🔥). Editing was also a pain because my editor (DaVinci Resolve) lagged for about 20 seconds after every single click. Was it worth it? See for yourself, I guess, but as far as I'm concerned, the answer is yes.

I think you just proved that lpl uses the same intro and finale in all of his videos and just inserts the specific stuff in the middle

Great stuff! It felt like there were demons in my head at the end. Just wish he said "click outta 1". Good job and keep fighting the good fight.
Love how you can hear him settle into a rhythm as the outros go on. Towards then end they're pretty much perfectly in sync

I synced them at "subscribe", so yep, that's how it's supposed to be 😉 Without the manual syncing there would have been way too much offset.

@@Makstuff Well sure but just because the final "subscribed" was purposefully synced, doesnt mean that the rest of it would have synced up more, unless you actually fiddled with the length/speed of the clips instead of just lining up the "subscribe"s like im thinking

Loaded all 100 clips in DaVinci Resolve (best free editor), set the zoom factor of all of them to 0.1, set x-coordinates of 1000, 1010, 1020, 1030, ... 1090 to left border, set the y-coordinates of 1000, 1001, 1002, ... 1009 to top border, set x-coordinates of 1001, 1011, 1021, 1031... 1091 to second column from the left, set y coordinates of 1010, 1011, 1012, 1013 to second row from the top, etc... Basically 20 manual selections+batch coordinate changes (10 horizontal, 10 vertical) to spread out all the 100 vids. Copied+pasted all the 100 clips after positioning, then manually lined up one group of them at the beginning ("this") and the other at the end ("subscribe"). Then did all the same again for 16 and 4 clips. Not sure how understandable this is for someone else, but if you have any specific questions, just ask 🙂
