Playground Danger: Children less than 5 years old have a significantly higher chance of lower extremity injuries, including a toddler fracture of the tibia, when sliding down the slide on a parents lap. Keep your pediatric patients safe and their parents informed and suggest catching young kids at the bottom of the slide instead. PMID: 29637487
