The funniest thing about this podcast is that we have 3 hosts with bad memory, two from old age and one from headbuts and drinking. So we get to hear the same stories 3-4 times 🤣🤣

There's another story about his first press conference after joining Leeds (I think it was Leeds anyway) and the first journo addressed his as Brian, to which he responded "it's Mr Clough to you". Then the second journo addressed him as Mr Clough, to which he replied, "please, call me Brian".

Been watching the rest is football for a while now and ive got to say ive learnt so much. Im absolutely loving it.

Shows how much Micah pays attention on this podcast because Gary has definitely told the story of Brian Clough trying to sign him in 1 of the episodes. May even have referenced it in another episode as well😂😂

This Podcast and Forever Arsenal are honestly my weekly/daily routine now you guys are very informative and have quality banter keep up the good work lads!!! I Cant pick who my favorite , But its between Alan and Big Micks Gas ur 3rd on my list lol.

Man I can't wait for the Gazza episode. I'm 27 and I only watch Barça, very new to the whole EPL game. But stories of Gazza I definitely know. He's just that mesmerizing even off the pitch.

He was probably in Belfast, he always gave answers based on who was asking them. He also said Nicky Butt was one of the best players at the 2002 World Cup when asked by someone from England, and that an African team would win the World Cup by 2010 when asked by an African. Pele was a true salesman, mainly of coffee and Viagra.

I saw George Best live at St Andrews and Villa Park. He was so brilliant before the piss got him. I remember hearing that he was really a very shy man consumed by fame.

You answered your own question Gary. The reason why you met sponsors after the game when receiving man of the match is because they pick it when TV don’t! In fact, as a lower league fan, I’m pretty sure on the odd game that is televised the match sponsor still picks man of the match but the tv will aswell and present a separate award

Sir Alex was by far the saltiest, and least media friendly of the three. Gary wasn't rating them by ability but by personal connection - he played for Sir Bobby with England, knew Pep as a youngster at Barcelona, and was insulted and abused by Sir Alex over the years.

Footballers dont sacrifice anything they train for about 3 hours per day. Ridiculous that they complain so much, they've never had proper jobs.

How about using your platform to try help fix important football issues like Var and officials?, this season has been a car crash, the officiating has been the worst iv seen in my 40yrs of watching footy and is on the borderline of negligence! , it's completely ruining the integrity of the game. It's not just one team being affected; it's the entire league. Why is it is all hush hush in the mainstream media currently? Scared of losing your well paid jobs on tv i guess.
