2:14 If everyone else escapes and you don't kill the last person, then you get 1 less trophy than what you have. If you escape, then you get all the trophies. If you die, then you lose 2 trophies.

My guess is that the trophies in this mode and the gems have the same code (because the collection for them is pretty much the same) and the Charlie gem steal just got copied over as well by accident

Yeah it's a feature, but probably only because it's broadly programmed for all collectibles. It dosen't make sense for this mode so it probably wasn't even thought of

Trophy escape is fun but it’s hard cus If you die it’s over no matter what place you are at and even though it’s little trophies lost it’s annoying that if you want to profit and get decent trophies you have to play risky and risk getting splattered and popped if you engage in a fight . It takes time to gain good trophies because you win 3 games and then it’s just a constant loss streak because of cheese like kit stun and invis

Its funny how he didn't even realise the trophies system in this mode while we here knew it after 2-3 games

The reason that happens is because in gem grab if you super somebody with Charlie they drop their gems. This must means they may have copy and pasted the script from the gems to this game mode

Apart from people playing the mode like bums and camping and stuff, its really fun. Its super cool having a gamemode where you can either take your current trophies or gamble to get even more. If they fix the charlie bug, and add some sort of motivation to not bush camp it can be an amazing mode

@@soupseer If you cocoon a person with 11 trophies while they’re on the escape portal (at least that’s what I think that is), then that person just escapes with 11 trophies. Also, I believe trophies and gems probably have similar code.

I'm pretty sure it's a feature since Charlie's super does the same thing when the enemy is holding gems in Gem Grab. I could be wrong, but if they decide to rework how her super works in this new gamemode, they should do the same in Gem Grab.

Are you serious? If enemy don't drop gems in gem grab they will win and get huge advantage because Charlie super stays for 3,4 sec I believe so when enemy got 10 gems a 15 sec countdown begins so if Charlie super a gem carier then enemy team will get 4 sec advantage and win the game

1:51 I’ve noticed that when I win I get my amount -1 because we didn’t escape, just didn’t die. When you die it’s -2 without your amount counted in it. And when you escape (best option) you get your exact amount

I don't know why people hate this mode. The highest you can actually lose is only 2 trophies.

Today there was the special quest "Escape with 25 trophies in trophy escape" I do all my quests. Every single day. So I had to play 56 matches, only to complete this stupid quest. You can only lose 2 trophies per round, but I lost over 100, only for this single quest. Maybe I'm just weird, (super city rampage was/is my favorite mode) but I absolutely hate this mode.

And for the first time, Charlez, i disagree. The last game was like when 2 people team up agaisnt the tbe third person who has more cubes than them. It might seem unfair but its just how the game mode is designed. You either have to escape or kill everyone else. Getting more trophies is nice the same way getting extra cubes is nice. I think you unintentionally just got greedy tbh. If you let the mortis go, you could have 1 V 1 the Otis possibly. But you aggroed the two of them and put them in a situation where killing you was their only option. So they wouldn't just let you get away 😂

Its probably an oversight, the trophys must be copys of gems and they forgot that interaction

Ngl, this mode would be so cool if the map was bigger and divided in sections that benefited certain brawler archetypes more than others, since there are portals in different places, because low key, this map specifically Makes me wanna die since it is just grassy enough to let assassins thrive, but make you think the opposite, and that’s STUPID.

Dropping the trophys is not a bug you drop the gems in gemgrab as well

I think the glitch is happening because trophies might be registered as gems in the code, and i think Charlie can force someone to drop the gems after cacooning him.

I love this mode so much because it is a more low risk low reward version of solo showdown and charlie isn't that op because edgar hard counters pretty much no matter what.

So thats why Charlie is considered a thief canonically She steals your wins AND trophies

If you escape with 1 trophy and you have a winstreak, it's +1 to +6 trophies for basically camping and thats probably a bug
