I mean you're not wrong, but there are so many good reasons to do so. The longer you play this game the more you realize how fundamentally broken it is and it shouldn't stay that way..

Man they need to fix the saves for single player.

It's huge for pve Pvp not so much

I wish i could get into asa like i did with ase but i just cant. Even little things like transferring items from one place to another takes forever with the cursor as opposed to the old UI style. And having to always put the codes in to get rid of all the clutter and clouds, why cnat it just save? ugh

I'll be honest it almost died immediately for me. The only reason I watch the content anymore is cause I'm and old fan and love ya. But man I wish they would fix the game so I could come back and have some fun like the good old days. But let's face it. Nothing will ever be as good as back then. Keep up the content brother. HOD fan for life~

This is just a case of too little too late. Not many people are really caring about skin customization. Its cool, sure, but that's not what people want to see. We want a game that isn't teeming with mesh rats and hackers, fucking up the experience for everyone. I hate to say it, but I think Ark is kinda done. Palworld is where its at now. I get a combined experience of Pokemon, Ark, and Zelda. Its a great game. Would love to see you try it out.

Wildcard really needs to focus on performance. I just started playing enshrouded a different survival rpg. and it looks amazing right off of launch and I consistently get 100+ fps. I really am hoping for the success of ark but wildcard is just fumbling the bag hard.

I've seen people talking about that game, it just gane out on preview right? I wonder if it has much depth or any PvP elements yet. With how things are looking Ark is going to seriously get left behind if another game such as Pal world picks up the pace and really listens to their community and isn't constantly ripping them off. I love Ark and I've put thousands of hours into it but it does surprise me somewhat that it still has much of a playerbase whatsoever after all the nonsense they've pulled.

I hope to be convinced to play ASA one day but for me, pointless fluff like this suggests the direction this game is going is just further away from something I'd want to play. I do like your enthusiasm though and will continue watching and hoping

People keep saying "I wish they would just focus on performance instead" but people have been saying this since 2015. They are just going to keep adding content instead of fix their game. Briliant way to make more money

We needed the rates last weekend. I’ve lost my ark mojo now. Got palworld in the go and cba to really go back to asa. The island is boring, the cryo situation is dire and apart from some cool quality of life, it’s the same game. Graphics hardly look any better on console, with a constant 150-200 ping. Not fun and more stressful than anything. WC fkd up with the cryos, absolutely no need for the new system on pve.

bro I tried so hard to like this game, but the performance simply sucks. i’ve only admitted lately but i think evolved is a much better game atm, unofficial is still popping and my eyes don’t hurt looking at my monitor when i play evolved unlike ascendant

did you play ase when it was first out, it was far far worse than asa, give asa another year and it should be a better optimized game and another 7 years of updates just like ase when it launched

I'm pretty much setting ASA aside for now. The blatant fact that Studio Wildcard cannot prioritize optimizing the core code and fix the glaring issues BEFORE stacking more onto it ridiculously glaring. 4 months into this already shows that Jeremy doesn't know how to code. The decision making, or the lack thereof, and lack up leadership inside the company is sinking this franchise. "Huge Update" is laughable... it's a smokescreen that content creators need to turn the fans on and clear out.. show what Wildcard is all about.

Imo skins are just pve fluff. Do very little to change the game experiance

People are dipping the game becuase of the cheaters and the abilatie to type in a code to see through the map and shit. They did not fix the real problems to start with, they gave us an upgrade to kill most of our pc's on specs. So sorry to say they had this coming realy. they need to fix shit instead of bringing more content that is going to put even more stress on hardware.

They need to monetize skins, best way to make money and not be Pay2win

Again, their focus on pve is going to bite them in the ass. The number one reason why ark was great was because of its 24.7 pvp. The current performance can't even match that right now, let alone beat it. They need to focus on performance so more people can play. Not introduce more resource sucking mods that will limit who can have a playable experience.
