This is one of many classics we enjoyed back in the late 70's...they just don't make music like this anymore!! Nice choice!!😊

Great job on the reaction! It’s so awesome to see young people understand why we loved the music of the time. The switch up part you liked so much actually has a name. Just like verse and chorus, what you heard is called a bridge, and it’s not often found in more modern music, but it was a great way to, as you said, switch it up. It’s different enough, but you know it’s part of the same song. I was very pleased that you picked up on it and just wanted to put a name to it for you in case you hadn’t heard the term. Keep going!

This was a huge, huge song & has been used in a bunch of tv shows & movies, so it's not surprising that it sounds familiar. It may also have been sampled by someone, since it was so popular. Yes, the music from the 60s/70s/80s was soooo good, I feel very lucky to have grown up in the 70s & 80s & heard all this music on the radio, then later in the 80s we had MTV. Great reaction!

I'm glad you're opening yourself up to the songs from the previous generation. Since you like this sound you would probably enjoy all the hits from the mega successful Eagles. Their catalog is huge and you could pretty much Start anywhere

I'd stay away from reacting to anything from 'The Eagles'. He could get a strike against his channel. Don Henley has people scouring KZread looking for reactors playing their music...

@@scotties.3414 ~ Yeah, I know of at least two other reaction channels that have gotten strikes after playing Eagles tunes. There are videos on KZread talking about this very subject. In one of them, Don Henley is going on a rant about KZreadrs making money from his songs. Henley's worth around $250 million, and he's worried about someone on YT making chump change from his music...

@@scotties.3414 ~ I've never heard anything nice about Henley either. I believe him and Glenn Frey didn't get along. And Don Felder sued the entire band - getting $10 million for royalties...

Great song, unfortunately this was pretty much their only hit, they broke up not long after. Another suggestion of 70's yacht rock Climax Blues band "Couldn't get it right" "I love you" and Average White band "Picking up the pieces" "A love of your own" "Cut the cake"

Not true. 'Player' had another hit in 1977 called "This Time I'm In It For Love", which went to #10 on billboard...
