I just embraced playing older games instead, and only get them when they're very cheap and (/or) really high on my wishlist. That replaces my backlog, allows me to get complete editions, sometimes used, at a very low price, and don't waste even 1% of what I used to spend on games of which I only played half (of which I only enjoyed half), often just having buyers remorse about it. Much more gaming for much less money. Which literally allowed me to buy a forest and a mountain to find some space and peace, instead of always wanting more stuff to fill my little apartment back in the day, which was full of stuff but always felt empty.

i never heard someone call coasters "under cup things" lol, i love it

I’m about 10 hours into Metroid dread, I feel like I’m nearly finished and it’s AMAZING. Hard but super satisfying when your manage but beat a boss. I find exploration to be fun and the momentum/movement is really fun

I play only on PC and I love your channel, most of the games you talk about are also on PC. Haven't played Ni No Kuni 2 but I loved Ni No Kuni 1 so much(best ps3 jrpg)

After watching your Ni No Kuni review, I immediately bought it off Ebay for pretty cheap and I can't even begin to tell you how charming this game is. But you already know. Thanks Ircha!

I never played a Metroid game before Dread. I LOVE this game, it's indeed a 10/10 perrrrfect masterpiece game. This game is polished like crazy. It's hard, but very rewarding.

He’s like « screw it, I’m gonna build another kingdom » I don’t know why, but that cracked me up 😂😘

I’ve only been a Metroid fan for a couple years, but Dread is amazing!! Beat it 5 times already with 3h 10m being my best time! I just couldn’t put it down!

It is great. You should play Super Metroid. It is my personal favorite, followed by Metroid Fusion.

@@God_Shen I know it's sacrilege, but Super Metroid is the one game I have tried multiple times to get into, but just don't jive with. Being the completely backwards chump that I am, Metroid 2 on GameBoy was what sold me on the franchise, and I then jumped into Zero Mission, followed by Prime 1, AM2R, Samus Returns, and I currently have an incomplete file in Fusion. I think I'll complete the Prime Trilogy and Other M before I attempt Super again sorry.

@@PikaLink91 Ha, then don't even think about trying out the NES one then. But yeah, super metroid is one of the all time greats. Dread is the overall better game of the franchise because of the evolution there's been on gameplay and mechanics in the genre but super metroid is the most revolutionary one, it changed gaming and created a genre on and by itself.

@@bbbazzinga Well A Link to the Past was also a milestone for Zelda and was, like Super Metroid, the series debut on SNES and a revolutionary refinement of its gameplay. Shocker, I don’t like ALTTP either, but I have played, beaten, and love both Zelda 1 AND 2 on the NES. So I’m pretty confident I would like Metroid 1 as well.

As much as I would like to play MMO's again, I feel like its so time consuming that I wont have time to play other things, or watch my favorite tv shows etc. I'm probably getting too old for these games, but it looks good and maybe one day... who knows. :) Love your vid's btw ;)

I liked in Nino no kuni how you were able to move between worlds and it was also way to solve some of the puzzles. Of course the way how the story begins in ni no kuni is very tragic. In some other games it is time travelling that is the way to solve problems...

I got ni no kuni 2 on pc a few weeks ago and i really like it. It is much easier than ni no kuni 1, especially the combat so it was more for me because i kinda struggle with the combat system in 1 but i still love 1 more for the story and the feeling of achievement after winning a tough fight :D.

14:20 oh my god every game instantly becomes better when you get to play as a cat thats basically already a instant 10 out of 10 for me especially because he looks a lot like my own cat at home :D !!

I rented Ni No Kuni Wrath of the white witch because of your review!! I'm hooked on stardew valley and I'm trying to branch out a bit. Fingers crossed I hope I love it as much as you do.

I love ni no kuni ,the story is so heartwarming and sad in some ocasions plus i identified with some of the situations

Any game that has the Studio Ghibli touch is a must.

I have 19 hours into Ni No Kuni the 1st one. Its a great game with excellent story line as you said @Ircha Gaming . I got Ni No Kuni 2 which i’ll play after I finish the 1st one.

The Forest of Nial overworld region, in Ni No Kuni II, lags on just about every system. On my PS4 just entering that region on the map cuts well below 30.

What you have said about Ni No Kuni 2 makes me think Its missing what the first didn't have for me and I'd like it more.

I'm so happy you gave an honest review of Ni No Kuni II, because i feel like most reviews I've seen of it have been incredibly generous. I found the blurriness of the backgrounds were almost unbearable when playing as Evan, i guess because he moves faster than when you play as Roland. Not even to mention the world map. Playing it on switch actually gave me a headache because of the visuals. It's funny just because i didn't have any of those issues playing the first one on switch. Pretty disappointing.

I dont understand how the 1st game had no issues, but the 2nd has tons of them.

Good music!!! Good history!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Been meaning to try NNK2, but always been hesitant. Might try it after I beat Tales of Besteria, Lost Judgement, and Guardian of the Galaxies (😬😬😬). Going to skip Metroid Dread for now as I don't care for 2D platformers, but will definitely play it after my my girl finishes it as I love Samus in Smash lol

@@ircha yeah! And I agree with your review. I was initially enchanted until the mandatory skirmishes (ugh), leveling up your kingdom, and the loss of the ally system. It became less fun despite the great animation and music. Iam not sure Ill finish 2 and just replay the first one which was purrfect.☺

Wish I had a PC to play new world. But I did get to play metroid and loved it

I got my lil brother's old Game Boy and GBA games the other week, as he was getting rid of old stuff. Talk about beat up! One didn't have a label. :) On Metroid Dread, it could be called Metroid Stress. I haven't quite finished yet because I got stuck again on the 4th robot dog trying to kill me. lol I still say it's great though.

It would be awesome with a performance patch for No No Kuni 2 on Switch. It’s such a gem this game. 😍 I love 1 as well!
