I think Fake Pep's unfinished animations being filled in by real Peppino's animations gives it a horrifying feel to it, like sometimes he gets good enough at pretending that you cant tell the difference

I imagine war would instead be a stealth mission where fake peppino has to blend in with the soldiers

In the base game it looks like The game can’t decide which one is actually Peppino. FP has invincibility frames as well. And it’s not just a visual effect. They actually work as invisibility frames. FP can also be damaged at all times. (As long as he doesn’t have invincibility frames active) so TV being the real one… actually kind of works well with information the game let us have.

Creative of the mod maker to reuse "PIZZA TIME NEVER ENDS" for Fake Peppino's escape theme, and especially kudos on them to use the fanmade track "Underservioli" for his lap 2 theme- I just _KNEW_ someone was gonna use it for this, so it's neat to hear it in action...

I almost want one of his taunts to be the Walking Head Peppino in the "Back to This Guy" screen

I think it would be interesting if fake Peppino used the scrapped heat meter instead of combos to rise his score. It makes sense he’s reskin of base Peppino, but something slightly off from the base Pizza Tower experience would make perfect sense. Overall great job dude. My favorite part is Feppino’s smushing his face on the tv screen.

I like how the Pincer and Gustavo are terrified of Fake Peppino in the intro card. (Edit: the escape theme in this mod is Pizza Time never ends OMG)

fake peppino works despite not having all the sprites because him just looking like real peppino randomly is very much plausible. like playable pepperman and whatnot is not as smooth because they turn into peppino due to lack of full sprites but that doesnt matter for fake pep so it just makes him look like a very complete character.

In a way, I feel like the sprite glitching back to normal Peppino sometimes kinda fits him x3

Those playable bosses mods could be interesting for a sequel. Like, a new villain in on the loose and Peppino teams up with Pepperman, the Vigilante, the Noise and his weird clone to stop the bad guy.

It kinda struck me as a reward characters instead for P ranking their bossfights, and you get to try out their movesets and how they work. And their respective boss levels would be either skipped or replaced with a bonus level that fits their theme respectively.

I feel it would be ridiculously cool to have fake pep be able to run on ceilings or do super jumps without having to build up speed, in exchange for being hit taking way longer to recover from and diving being at a steeper angle or something like that

You know, with the change of Lap themes for Fake Peppino, I think it would be cool, if other boss characters had their battle themes playing during the Lap runs. Plus, imo, they also fit into the "Getting The Fuck Outta Here" vibe (with a slight exception of Calzonification, maybe). Thought someone need to compose extra Lap 2+ songs for each character.

One Of the Best mods so far

I wish it had unique abilities like being able to run on the ceiling and taunting causing projectiles

A couple of mechanic ideas I had in mind are they his taunt wouldn't be a counter, but just a way to shoot projectiles. Another is Fake Peppino can run on ceilings like he can in his boss fight.

ModeSeven's Pizza Time Never Ends cover could work well for the escape, still fits the vanilla tone while giving it more appropriate intensity for an escape theme

As a fully implemented character it'd be interesting to see some of peppino's more technical moves get completely removed and instead have his base mechanics more distinct, the wallrun is already getting there but stuff like the super jump shoulder charge and the dive ground pound are too fancy for it. Also add some sort of sprite/mechanic involving the clones, either make his dive/roll him turning into goo or have him make a clone as part of a move (or even taunt)

I think fake pep is just a scuffed version of pissino

The lap2 theme will be “deserve that I deathioli” and then “undesservioli” and anything after lap 3 will just be remixes of pizza time never ends. Also semi-custom moveset when? He should be able to run up any wall without jumping and also have a ton more changed, and his animation for when it’s pizza time and he’s standing still should be his animation where you can damage him in the bossfight. I have plenty of ideas so if you need ‘em, call me up.

Fun fact: you can grab Fork Knights by jumping then grabbing

Not bad, and I like where this is going...but honestly, can be improved upon. Like, say, with the frog noises the Clone Peppinos make, maybe some Peppibot animations(because why just use ONE type of fake Peppino, right?) and derpy versions of Peppino's 'throws'. ...also, between this, Tour de Pizza working on the Noise, the Vigilante mod and the Pepperman mod, all four of the normal bosses are playable in some form.
