This video will take you to Playa Del Carmen Beach in Mexico and provide information and an update on the seaweed situation. This video was shot at sunrise in front of the Hyatt Hotel. There has been a big change in the amount of seaweed on the beach lately. It is still manageable but the amount of seaweed is increasing.
Playa del Carmen is a coastal resort town in Mexico, along the Yucatán Peninsula's Riviera Maya strip of Caribbean shoreline. In the state of Quintana Roo, it’s known for its palm-lined beaches and coral reefs.

The seaweed issue is all along the Caribbean. Florida has the issue on top of “red tide” which is dangerous! 😮

I remembering being in Florida and wondering why everyone was coughing on the beach. I learned later that was due to “red tide”. It’s deadly & kills the fish & causes respiratory issues in humans! 😫

Do they sell the seaweed to companies that make seaweed products? Looks like a beautiful morning. Seems like erosion. Why on earth would they move so close to the water. 😊✨
