Room tour in Playa Cayo Santa Maria. This is the "Kid's free room".
We were in building 5, main floor, the room is ok, clean and modern but needs some touch up. The beds are already put close together when we got room. Nothing in the mini fridge except big bottle of water and they refilled everyday. The freezer part has no cover, so everything froze in the fridge.
We have 4 people, 2 adults and 2 kids, they gave us only 2 bath towels. Extra toilet paper roll every day after they cleaned the room, so no need to worry (we brought 1 roll from home...just in case =)). They gave us 2 soap bars, but there's NO shampoo, luckily we prepared to bring some, so make sure you do too just in case.
Air conditioner and ceiling fan works fine. We didn't use the safety box (we didn't need to), if I remember correctly it doesn't work, there's no lock on it, it has a hole on the box.
Wifi works well, but you do have to reconnect/sign in again sometimes.
The front door lock doesn't work properly, sometimes we had a hard time to lock it from the outside, so we just closed the door without locking it when we're out as there's nothing important in the room to care. Overall we just need a place to sleep and we prepared to bring some extra....just in case, like: extra towel, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper...etc.
