They have GOT to get rid of the invite code nonsense. There's no reason that we shouldn't be able to just friend friend invites. You know, like every single game ever made.

The invite code is the dumbest thing I ever ever seen on a game like this. So if my buddy is not online, I can’t get on in my spare time and do anything on that server.. Just a dumb concept all around.

i just hope they made change HOST when they go offline

It would be nice if let's say you and 3 or 4 other friends all want to play but not having to wait for that person who started the world to be logged in. I feel that is a huge weakness on these kind of games, yes one can make a server but it needs a computer running all the time to make it work. Wonder if this will change in the future? Like if a pass code is needed who has the code can jump in at any point and play with out needing host online.

I can’t join or even host a multiplayer world, the “make world multiplayer” slider thing is completely blacked out, and I can’t even join my friend because it keeps saying that the connection timed out. And no videos online help at all

Yes, you can, but the latency would reach to 250ms. Disconnect would constantly happend to you. I suggest play with friends in same region.

But this means I have to log in to the server for my friend to be able to play there? This sucks

Update: I thought it was my firewall.. but its this: I played with 2 friend at the weekend. Nobody can join. Another friend tried to join and he could. What!?

@@bubert3330 if you want to do that press on ur world once. Left down u will see u can open the file of the world. Once u r there just press in the "pkayer" folder and find out which one are ur friends. Advice: 00001 should be you

We got a connection timed out error every time. We fixed it by switching to offline server joining and switching back

Doesn't seam to be a tether. I made a multiplayer world and joined with my brothers pc then just ran until something killed me. Got really far away without it dragging/teleporting the character on his pc to me.

No tether but it does have issues loading caves and boss fights while in multiplayer (Xbox)

you wont be able to access the character you created on the server and you're only able to play on it when the host is online

Me and my son play together on my two pc. He'll go back home leaving the game of his account on so i can play then he'll play any other game on the same account at his home and it'll boot the account at my place but the server still stands. Which is awesome for me.

yeah i think so, when you click on your world there is a button to open the file location, ask them the zip it and sent it over. when you get it, go to the file location of your worlds and extract it.

If you own the game on steam still there should be a dedicated server version there too install that and run it for hamachi all you need to do is create a network and invite your friends with the id and password that you created when creating the network all your friends need to do is copy Hamachi's ipv4 address and paste it in with the server port
