Easy way to look at this; Tritone substitution. The 3 and 7th of the Dominant chord in a 2-5-1 is the same as the 3 and 5th of the domain chord a semitone below the chord you wanna reach!! 2-5-1 to c is D min, G dom 7, C maj/ Min (it doesn’t matter). But with a Tritone sub you do D min, C sharp Dom 7, C maj or min! Nice and easy

Beautifully creative! Id say a Gospel piano technique isnt mastered until it is "chromatized". Thus this is a great(2-5-1 to the minor chord)exercise in - literally all 12 keys - even though not exactly referred to as such. Kudos Kc 🙏🏻
