Access is blocked for certaain regions because the main company Gravity sells franchises for certain territories. In order to ensure that each franchise has a reasonable chance for customers in their area to use their franchise, each franchise puts in a certain amount of blocking of users from different regions. Some people trying to use credit cards to buy kafra shop points from outside the region have also had problems.

In general, how many people are there online, who are not merchants?

I would love to play on IRO as a EU server refuge but getting my friends to pay for a VPN is a tough sell when we can just play on a pirate server without jumping thru hoops. Gravity has never figured out how to run RO especially internationally or keep players that's why most went to private servers.

Hello :) Is there any possibility nowadays to play on iRO from a blocked region? For those who already have a character created, VPN usage is not necessary. However, it's not possible to create a Ragnarok Online account from these regions. Is there any solution? Thank you ^^

Yikes usually re-installing does the trick. The only other thing I can think of is maybe you tried to connect during maintenance when the server was down.

I would play on iRO but the rates are too low.. I don't have that much time to grind. I was thinking about starting in Project Alfheim

I played there before. It's fun but highly streamlined. Chaos is remarkably fast imo once you get started.

i came back to play it last week and it worked for 3 days and now i having a " failed to conect sever" problem on the patcher for 4 days and i dont know what to do - anyone got a clue how to fix it ?

Honestly I happens randomly when the game updates. The updates just don't work out right. I usually just uninstall and reinstall. It "usually" fixes it.

I use a web browser called "pale moon" any time I need java. Try that out and hopefully it works!

Oh btw if you can't register an account you need to use internet explorer to register (took me a while to figure out) (ps: nevermind I saw you mentioned this in the video)

when I open internet explorer, I go straight to Microsoft Edge, and when i try logging in there, i get Notice You are not allowed to view this content. Do you have any onther tips? thanks

The server may have been down for maintenance. I always un-install and re-install to fix any issue. (Sorry for the late comment)

I dunno if I can go back to the official servers. If I log in and see that all the WoE castles are owned by one guild, no ones in any of the hang out spots, and all the merchants are selling the same end game gears at the same prices, I'm gonna get depressed.

☠️ I mean that's kinda what it's like. You need to try hard to find a community of players to hang with. People don't really "hang out" anymore. The guilds I experienced just log on to do weekly quests etc. I never got into WoE so I'm not sure about that.

People hung out in the old old days because there werent as big a variety of online and mobile games to play and social media was not such a well-developed place for people to spend their time. But then all sorts of games appeared from vendors other than Steam or Valve, and so people used their spare time to play those games instead of just "hanging out" to chat about this or that.

Managed to make an account and run the VPN but can only connect to europe based ones as i dont pay for it so it doesnt work for me :(

hello, i live in germany and i got the message "you're not allowed to see this content" everytime i want to create RO account.. then i try using VPN and i can finally open the register page but now it says i have to activate javascript.. im using edge and still got the same javascript message.. this is so funny because there is german flag on the top right corner but the game not allowed german region to create an account..

Absolutely sounds like a browser issue. I need java to play old games on neopets and I use the web browser pale moon. Try it out!

I know its an older video but i ran into that problem that I can not make another game account. I have 3 right now before the restriction took place. Sitting in Germany I can play without problems without a VPN, no idea why. But I can not make another game account. Any idea here to fix that? I tried a few VPNs but still it says "You are not allowed to view this content.".

Try incognito mode in your web browser and also just different web browsers. Also try making a new e-mail and making a new game account that way.

You'll have to have access to the original email you used when you created the account. I know servers have changed names and moved and were merged but your characters should still be there. You'll have to reset the password with the original email you used and log in to the website to see all the account associated with that email.

@@AmberEvelyn nope, they banned all EU accounts. I know where my chars should and would be, but the accounts were banned due to region lock.

@@Xellie Oh damn. Gravity really sucks sometimes. If you want to start over there is the booster character campaign you can check out. It's really easy to level up on character and start over.

If you're the real Xellie, you'd be able to surpass Doddler. He demonstrated that he can make a novice level 1/1 and then take it to 99/50 2nd class with no help or borrowed gear in about 12 hours. Sure, new chars don't have your old treasured names.

I didnt manage to do with any browsers on my computer, so I used my phone to do that. dont understand why its so fucked up, but it worked

They blocked all Europe due changes of Privacy policies EU rules. They didnt comply.. I have started 4 days ago ro prime and liked it.

Ro prime is a PAY 2 WIN, like was the Revo-Classic version. It's not a _Ragnarok Online_ Game.
