I'm a guitarist and I have gotten quite a bit more knowledgeable in quarrintine but I have always wanted to play a harp. But 50 years of experience, playing on the road and partying and I can't breathe very well. Oh well, I really had a lot of.....

Hi Max. I am 65 years old and five months playing with the Harmonica. After many hours of videos, I must say that this is the best of all to start learning. I have seen many tutorial videos on KZread, of all levels and extensions, and this video (first and second part) of just a few minutes brings much more. Without a doubt, short videos are an original idea that you should continue to develop. Congratulations teacher, it's a great job. Keep producing more, the apprentices will thank you.

He may be a blue's harp player.........So am I.......all my life. Started at age 6, I'm 56 now, and play blues harp/guitar/singer/stage performer for many years. That "tape over the holes" is BULLSHIT. See my main comment above where I explain it completely. And leave it to an Englishman to do things ass backwards.

Dan Muntean Dan its a great video I agree, but why? He takes into consideration most who choose a video that says " learn in 5 min." are totally inexperienced so the tape on holes gets you going with that backing track you actually get feeling you've accomplished something even use your own dynamics ( loud or softer) There's a guy on these replies that's shitting his tightly whities over the tape over holes goes on n on arguing with everybody telling how advanced he is. My 1st inclination is to butt heads with the fool. But my point is I've played guitar over 50 years I appreciate going slow be methodical patient with music, unless you some Beethoven reincarnation. I got the backtrack they kindly provide free its great, if you don't have backtracking GET IT n tell your friends so people like Max can stay on utube. More advanced harp players have to " tongue block" but I just barely got going I see its a help in the sense right off the divin' board you're swimmin' if you get my drift👍 🙌
