@@Maruhodo I know. It's like saying to someone, "you don't even know how beautiful you are". Even though it's a compliment, some could find it offensive to be judged like that if they don't agree with it. It's like saying someone is beautiful but also has bad self awareness or self esteem. If I don't have bad self esteem, why not just say I'm beautiful and leave it at that? This man has an incredible artistic ability i his music and performance, and the cool and eccentric costumes in his music videos tells me that he probably knows that he is awesome.

Not everyone who is good at something or is beautiful is aware of it. You'd be surprised how many attractive and beautiful people actually think of themselves as ugly. Just because someone is beautiful doesn't mean they automatically have high self-esteem or are aware of how other people see them. Or another example is a person who is always so good at something that it just becomes normal to them and average and is not a big deal while to other people it's mindblowing abd amazing

I just realized that he is "cosplaying" as mariya from a certain performance where she was wearing a red long sleeved shirt. (I don't know the name of that performance) And the scarf he wears is mimicking her hair. I never noticed that hah hah. Edit: someone linked the performance I was referring to in the replies, check it out and thank them for taking time out of their day to find it, I would have *never* found that performance on my own for sure. いくつか風くんの動画にコメントを書かせて頂いてます。最近はCMやドラマに曲もタイアップされて、だいぶ知られて来てるけど、改めて思うのは、ピアノ一本でカバー曲を歌ってる昔の動画から、とんでもない本気度を感じるんですよね。本家に勝るとも劣らんほどに。それでいて、彼自身が作った楽曲もとても魅力的で。努力と音楽を自然に愛することの出来る才能の賜物だなぁと思います。

これはまりやさん1984年リリース曲 旦那様の山下達郎さんも唄われてどちらも好きだけど風さんが唄うとまた違う曲みたい しかし、いい曲は時代を超える 37年も前の曲だなんて

まりやさんで無く、達郎さんのセルフカバーの方がヤバいです。彼の歌唱力が嫁さんよりどれだけ高いのか、体感出来ます。ライブバージョンでのギターが風くんの演奏並み？てかハイクオリティーが解る。

藤井風でこの歌知ったけど、竹内まりやさんバージョンも同じくらい好き。 原曲がどうとか言うのは邪道。

原曲のシティポップ感から、肉体化された名演だ。
