Mate, when the brushes flare in that way. Boil a pan of hot water 85 - 90 degrees C. Lower the brush in vertically and leave for 30 seconds. As you lift it out all the fibres will re align. May take 2 or 3 goes but it will straighten. All the best

For applications needing a softer brush than the steel wire one, this might be useful. ie moss removal. Thanks for posting.

I bought a similar brush to this and the instructions said clearly it was intended for use on hard surfaces. The clever thing would be to use a chemical on your concrete before using the brush. As for using it to cut grass...

I move a lot faster with my trimming line. But that high quality screwdriver that comes with the kit, I would get it for that. Good video though.

A stihl fs91 with some .105 size trimmer line costs a bit more than that setup, but will cut the time down to a quarter of what that thing took.

It’s a good tool to keep the window repair place busy. Good review though.

Everything you did you can do it better faster and easier with regular string trimmer head. And can edge with an edger blade. It doesnt make and sense to use this. Maybe itd be good for moss.

I stick to the wire brush for edging sidewalk brush for cleaning

I'll stick to my quick clean edger,trimmer , comes out cleaner,better line.

My CNC machine uses a nylon brush to deburr aluminum..it's been in the machine for 6 months give or take, hasn't worn down to the point where I have to set/recalibrate tool length yet.

@@RobertLevai-zr7ir I had some one time, it wont even fit in most commercial trimmers but if your line head will hold it and you have enough power you can chew through small trees with it and it will cut a cable tv line or a garden hose in an instant. I have the KM and use a hedge trimmer for big weeds and up to about 3/8" green wood. When that .155 line throws a stick or a golf ball hard enough to make you bleed through your jeans or you are paying for your neighbor's window you will think twice about buying that stuff again. If you need larger than .09 you are using the wrong tool.

When the FFFFFk is someone going to point out, that NOT ALL these new BRUSH Skimmer's etc can fit ALL Strimmer machines, Nor are they all poweful enough, to overcome the resistance, like petrol/ gas machines can. Oh, and try and get your money back--

This is the biggest waste of money I've ever seen in my lifetime. The edging looks terrible, I would never leave an edge to look like that. Honestly after one use this thing would probably be useless to try to use again.
