That’s a really good goal. Get talking to a zoo or sea life centre now. That could take you all over the world working with all sorts of people interested in the same things as you.

I’ve actually given up one of my favorite things in the world because I felt to be adding to this problem. I love to fish, but until lines & nets are made to be in some way perishable or have a short bio-degradable term I’ve stopped. I’ve always been a catch & release fisherman. Of course there have been times in which I’ve been hiking that I’ve cleaned and cooked fish. I thought I was doing enough. Then when I saw the deluge of everything pertaining to the western fishing style wash up in both tsunami’s, I had to stop.

Watching this breaks my heart, this beautiful creature never did anything to ever deserve this. HUMANS TAKE CARE OF OUR EARTH, PROTECT OUR HOME! PROTECT TYE ANIMALS, THE TREES EVERYTHING! we need to stop and think about our actions before we do things, everything we do has a effect. Try to have a good effect and not a bad heart breaking one!

Look up the word: "sociopath".

This is so distressing. We humans have done this to creatures who are absolute victims of our selfish disregard for their home, their lives. Rachel Carson was right.

Remember that lady that was lost at sea and the only thing she had to hold on to was a big sea turtle that was coming up for air near her after feeding at bottom? She held on to the turtle and for days the turtle didnt dive to feed, instead it brought her ashore and swam back out and dived to feed finally.

Awwwe was praying for a better result. Poor little guy so sad to hear people disrespecting and putting or mother nature's creations in danger like this.

Seeing this kind of stuff breaks my heart. When the hell will our governments work together to end unnecessary disposable plastic use? When will oil and agriculture and fishing companies be given a hard line NO NO NO to activities that are killing our planet? Who the hell wants to have kids and continue to live in a stinking polluted planet? God save us because apparently there are enough people on this earth who refuse to do the right thing. God bless these hospitals and rescue groups who are on the front lines seeing this devastation every day.

This poor turtle suffered a slow, agonizing death at the hands of human pollution. How ironic that humans are the same species doing great work to save their lives.

So sad how us human slowly killing our ocean. Turtle can live long and out live most humans. I really oneday we all can help the ocean before its really too late

This makes me sad. My niece has a tortoise and I never knew much about them till then. Now it seems these creatures are affected by the plastic that is in the water.
