Fume shroom is actually underrated tho. Even just one colum of them will be enough to deal with the trash cans, discos, and just weaker zombies.

I realise it’s been two years but yeah I was so upset he didn’t just plant in the bottom row and win easily, the zombie had bad brain economy and wouldn’t have been able to keep up if he had focused that row immediately

U do know if you choose grave buster it can get rid of the zombies gravestones

75 sun to get rid of 50 sun is not a good trade. In addition, if the other player spawns a zombie underneath it will eat the buster before it can get the gravestone.

@@thislopop2700 if you have a lot of control and are trying to win in sudden death, grave buster can be nice for taking out vital gravestones in the late game (in theory at least, i don't know how practical this is in practice)

@@justeenilingueeni123 It is still not profitable since despite removing a grave the grave buster is overshadowed by the rest of the plants that in addition to defending you complete their work more easily as the repeater that with only one you can easily destroy a grave

A basic zombie can be spawned right before they can even get a peashooter down, sure they have instant kills, but you have limited options with 6 seed slots

​@@greencaster9554 scaredy-shroom is a really good answer to early game basic zombies and are incredibly difficult for the zombie to deal with because the plants can get a lot of them down quickly and chip away (having sleeping puff shrooms help as well to insure that your scaredy-shrooms do the trick).
