the plants seemingly shooting out of nowhere into the thick fog always gave me chills

Now this is what good video game music should be. When you first hear it, you really get a sense of “what am I supposed to do” as the zombies come out of the thick fog to surprise attack your plants. It really feels like an uphill battle at this point, like you are getting outmatched

@@tangerinepaint3643its because since hes free. and that there are less pool lanes than grass lanes. you could easily get out a defense in a short amount of time. to prevent the fog levels from be cheesed. they gave him a 30 sec recharge to prevent from a getting a defense out too early

dude I really like how the percussion is implemented here. there is almost none at the beginning, but slowly, each repeat, there is more and more added

Ive realized that specific components of percussion represent zombies and specific instruments (That one echoey synth, strings) represent plants. The zombies are slowly being revealed! How cool is that? This is also why the Horde themes have an overwhelming abundance of percussion.

What world 4 of this game has taught me is that plants can sense danger long before us humans can. Take for instance the main mechanic of this world; fog, which obstructs the zombies Imagine you're tending to your garden late at night with a thick fog all over the house, then all the sudden, one of your peashooters/puffshrooms gets scared and instinctively opens fire into the fog. At first, you try to calm down the poor little guy, thinking the fog is scaring them, but then the other plants in the lawn start instinctively firing at the fog. You then start to feel uneasy yourself, then something happens to make you realize you need to get into the house and fast. This can from many things, whether you heard one of your rakes hitting something that wasnt there before, heard the sound of buckets clanking getting closer, heard something fell into the pool, heard whatever was causing the racket to moan out "brains..", you deciding to use a Blover seed to see what was going on, or you just heard the unmistakable sound of a huge wave of zombies approaching...

Se agrega el sonido de "iluminación" en el fondo, haciéndolo sonar más misterioso y mágico. Como si algo se estuviera escondiendo de nosotros (el yeti? Quizás por eso suena tan mágico?) 0:26 Medio gracioso que el jardin de niebla, le pase lo que le pasaba al jardín de noche con "moongrains". Bueno... quizás esta parte se refiere a como los zombis están avanzando en ideas y estrategias más tecnológicos apartir de aqui, minar, pogos para saltar, cajitas explosivas... aunque esas cosas no son lo mas avanzado del mundo, se nota que estos desgraciados zombis estan mejorando! Uh...! Ahora sería genial escuchar un remix de esta canción que utilizará más sonidos tecnológicos jsjs. 2:52 Lo mismo que 1:02 pero más rápido y tenso. 3:10 Lo mismo que 1:20 pero más tenso. 3:28 Lo mismo que 1:38 pero un poquito tenso por los golpes del fondo. 3:33 Lo mismo que 1:43 pero un poquito más tenso. Y ahí termina la canción. Ambienta muy bien el mapa de niebla, no tanto como lo hacen las 3 canciones anteriores (moongrains, grasswalk y Watery graves) pero aunque no ambiente tan bien como esas 3 canciones, y quizás tengo menos melodía, me gusta mucho más que todas las canciones juntas. Rigor mormist se podría definir como: Triste, trágico, melancólico, misterioso, tranquilo, tenso, desesperanzado y mágico. Por esto mismo, es mi canción favorita del primer juego y es una lastima que sea tan infravalorada a comparación de las demás canciones del juego. Merece más amor 💙💙💙💙 Porfavor Rigor Mormist, cásate conmigo.

It's my least favorite due to it probably being the slowest out of the 5 worlds. It also probably has the worst plants, the only good plant is Starfruit (which is probably one of the best plants in the game, but still lol). Edit: I forgot about Pumpkin, that plant is really great too.
