Okay, here's some actual information for this "ice level": When Plants Vs. Zombies was in Beta (Lawn of The Dead build 0.93, 4/01/08), an Ice Area was added, thanks to the popularity of the Zombie Bobsled Team. The Ice Area consisted of 8 levels in Adventure Mode, several new types of zombies, ambient ice effects, and, most interestingly, Zombie Yetis. The Ice Area was then transformed into a mini-game, which was then abandoned. Despite this, the developers accidentally kept the code in the final game, along with the Limbo Page. The reason why this mini-game is so broken is due to the absence of data that the Ice Area (And LoTD 0.93) once contained.

Complete lie, but some parts are true, such as 4/01/08, no ice area but adventure was replaced with ice level, which had static ice background, selected plants no sun at all no zombies a few zombies on screen but perma frozen.

fun fact: back in earlier builds, this level had a antartica-like background, some zombies were frozen and no sun fell off, this was probably a april fools level

@@trusnt6950 I agree, that would have made it even worse. I don't know why, but enemies without animations always scare me (Even more if it's something I've never seen before)

When I first was playing this {hidden} mini-game, I thought there was something wrong with my computer, but when I read about this mini game, I knew that this one was supposed to be like this (After being unfinished) . But I have to admit is kind of creepy, no sound, no zombies, one lonely wall-nut, then the next thing you no it's game over, If I had to say, this one is a mystery, and I'm still trying to put all the pieces together., on how to beat it.

unbeatable unless you hack it,and it infact wasnt unfinished,the code was just wiped,because after april fools it wasnt neccesary,it had a stock background of a glacier or something,5 frozen zombies,and you couldnt do anything (and i think you couldnt even plant a walnut) it served its purpose,as an april fools joke,then its completely unnecessary space wasting code just got deleted,cant explain why other minigames like unsodded werent wiped though,the april fools beta with the ice level also had a wind sound.but not much else to it other than,again it being an april fools joke

bruh there is no zombies in any level you pause there will be a newspaper zombie so yea you are busted

This is a great place to make your own level, like being able to place some zombies around and have the pre selected plants fight them

i played this minigame first time exactly when i grabbed wallnut game over sound played HOLY CRAP!!!!!!1

the one thing i cant tell you is why the game over music randomly plays and no its not haunted its just an empty field

I think ice level was an early version of bobsled bonanza because in that mini game you have to deal with the zamboni zombies which create ice

u know the solution just open the limbo page (if you dont know loook at this topic at wiki) then ice level then pause it and open cheat engine do sun hack (if you dont know look at pvz cheats wiki) then save and exit it then open its Id in user name (if you dont know look at hybird games Wikipedia) then change it to "game1_1.dat" means survival 1 then go to survival and open the survival day pass the level win the trophy enjoy it :)

not so fun fact:ice level was always meant to be unplayable,and it wasnt even supposed to be a minigame or anything,it was literally,just an april fools joke for the beta testers,however after ice level was just straight up removed after april fools they had the idea to make yeti zombie (atleast i think)
