From what I saw on reddit and stuff I thought most people thought the changes were pretty positive, apart from some of the bizarre ridiculous ones! 😅 Hopefully the changes get a second pass cause from what I’ve seen in the comments from this video, the changes haven’t been going down well haha!

Don’t think it’s possible. PvZ GW2 is one of my favorite in series but as I know dev teams that made PvZ-shooters (Garden Warfare dilogy and Battle for Neighborville) has been shut down. So… no team = no updates😢

A lot of the pvzh community dislike most the balance changes since they buffed already powerful cards, nerfed bad cards, and made some cards like puffshroom unusable. They did not nerf the op cards on the Zombie sides.

Yeah this seems more like a zombie side buff and a plant nerf overall. Black eye pea for example was a good answer to trick focused decks and yet also still answerable for most zombie decks. Making the card 2/2 would absolutely gut the card's viability into near uselessness since it now gets squished by bungee plumber and other 2 attack cards.

Balance changes seem mostly fine but turning puff-shroom into a 1 cost is gonna completely murder decks like cyclecap, pineclone and molekale, which is terrible cuz molekale decks are the most fun decks in the game imo

Popcap making a comeback?!? Zombot dinotronic mechasaur getting a buff will be a nightmare (already is one) and 1-cost puff-shroom is a blow to my main strat (I'm a Nightcap swarm deck main) but it's really neat to see them making meaningful updates

Man i love pvz heroes, it's just sad that after all these years, we only get a balance change, i expecting huge content update, but oh well....

@@chef6886 Yes, but that’s spending an extra 1 sun to possibly get something that would be worth 3 sun and two turns. Most of the time you just get a random 1-2 drop. So might as well give seedling team up by default to make it even somewhat viable.

These balance changes are utter garbage. It's like Popcap woke up, and did random buff/nerfs for no reason.

This is some huge news i never expected to hear this has given me more hope for them to keep this up and give some content updates to games preferably gw2 if possible.

This game is about the adversary of Plants and Zombies, and if OP plants get weaker, and OP zombies don't, it's a shitty balance change.

The fact that this update was leaked on my birthday honestly makes it really neat.

At first i tought all of this was some kind of joke but it seems real this time

I know most ppl arent happy with this update but i really like it. Mainly the fact that the game is finally being updated at all, but also because i think most of the changes were actually good. The vast majority of this update was taking very slightly underpowered zombie cards and slightly buffing them to be viable. I am really looking forward to using cards like tomb raiser and landscaper now. Most of the changes this update where positive or meaningless like with swimmer. Unfortunately people are just gonna judge this update by its biggest stinkers (which i will admit, there are alot). The overall fact that zombies got buffed and plants got nerfed is unfortunate but i am really glad tricarrotops and black eye pea got nerfed, theyre still viable but now they wont just win games off of a good start.

This game was what made me get into Hearthstone as well

Not actually tried Hearthstone to be fair - what I love in PvZ Heroes compared to a lot of card games is that the cards are characters they’re not like cards attacking cards if that makes sense?

There's too many weird changes for me to believe this is real, could be wrong though

In my opinion, I am so happy that the game got update but the balance changes honestly suck since it's so biased over the Zombies being OP so they buffed the best cards for the Zombies and nerf a lot of the good cards for the Plants. Like Puff Shroom and Cob Cannon being nerfed just sucks honestly, I don't know why everyone is fine with it but even if they did needed to be nerfed, they did it the wrong way. Like Cob Cannon only have 4 Atk doesn't just nerf it to make it "balanced", I don't ever see myself use this plant anymore since it's basically useless with it's weak damage. There are much more broken, more OP Legendary that deserve more nerfs like Cornucopia, Dark Matter Fruit, Astro Vera, Kernel Corn and so much more, honestly compared to those Legendaries, Cob Cannon is weak compared to them. If he really needed a nerf then just make him cost more or remove the ability to reduce 1 Atk, 1 HP for the Zombies in front and beside it, not make it so much weaker. And nerfing Puff Shrooms defeats the whole purpose of the plant, if you wanted to nerf the Mushroom comp then nerf literally every other mushroom like the Punish Shroom. As someone who mains Nightcap, this actually upsets me. And the Zombies are even worse since there are so many unnecessary buffs given to Zombies that make sense, like why are Zombies like Zombot Dinotronic and Coffee Zombie have a massive buff to them when they are already OP enough? There are very few that I actually like the changes given to them like Gentleman and Zookeeper having less damage for more health to have their utility be used more and Seedling having more health, those changes are good but still, most of them are unnecessary and suck. Obviously this is my opinion but these are not good changes at all, I hope that these change a lot in the upcoming future.

I know its impossible they give us updated but the only thing they need to revive the whole community and game is new sets and heroes!! Many games wish some easy works like this but ea and pop cap dont even give us a good balance change after 8 years its same for gw2

What I would do with these changes: 1. Scrap the nerf to Puff-Shroom altogether for obvious reasons. 2. Leave Mechasaur at 6/7 but make it untrickable. Given the risk of putting it on the field, it would greatly benefit from that. 3. Turn the Bean Counter nerf into a buff to 3/3. It's not good at 2/2 to begin with so why bother neutering it even further? 4. Buff Laser Cattail even further to a 3/2. Would make it a great aggro card. 5. Buff Seedling even further to a 0/3. That would _actually_ make it hard to answer on turn 2 (unlike with Bungee Jumper, Beam Me Up, Bats etc. which still do 2 damage).

Black Eyed Pea becoming a 2/2 and Zapricot becoming a 4/1 are two particularly egregious changes I've noticed. BEP has always been perfectly solid as a 2/3, and now that it can be taken down by stuff like Bungee Plumber, or any 3-strength minion taking it down with wiggle-room for 1 other trick is ludicrous. And, like, who even _uses_ Zapricot enough to warrant a nerf?? 😭

bro we got a hacker problem in pvp. I've encountered hackers. First time I was kicking this guys butt, then next turn goes by, i do no damage. I thought, maybe a glitch, maybe he lagged out.
