Probably my favourite troll ive ever done is on the port scallywag map. Me and a friend pushed this guy with drones while he was in drone to the bottom of the sea. We tried a few times and he was just there at the bottom of the sea and drowned when he came out of it. He had a rage at me too :3

When I'm using the Engineer class, my strategy is to, just like in the video, use my jackhammer to spam a plant up until they're dead (Of course, still use your weapon). If you've got them against a wall, they'll likely not be able to move.
