can you do grass seeds?
If you want to plant water spinach/kangkung, I recommend using hydroponic techniques, because it grows faster than using ordinary planting media.
Could you clarify why chilling the seeds in a fridge?
It's for simulating the winter in the natural. Some types of seeds will need to go through a cold-stratification to sprout properly.

It was randomly chosen from a mixed-seed pack.
So now you can get multiple seeds from the plant that you have grown.
