Then I grew up, moved to a city, far from nature... I had enough, then God blessed me with a wonderful husband... who taught me to reconnect with nature... As a family of 7 I can say how stocking up & gardening etc has helped us in times of unemployment and lack! Bless you and thank you for all of your beautiful videos!! I love seeing your transition of Winter to Spring from planting to decor to food to clothing. And I love that you don't wear gloves. That you work the Earth with your bare hands. Love your videos ❤️ A little tip when you refill your spice jars, either wait until they are completely empty between refills or dump whatever is left at the bottom into a separate container and then put it on the top of the new spices in the jar after it's been filled. This keeps your ingredients fresh, otherwise stuff can spoil and go rancid on the bottom. :)

This is so gorgeous 😍😍 gardening is a real talent and this is talent.

When I replenish my jars of staples, I empty them out first. Then I pour in the new and put what was left in the jar on top so the oldest gets used up first. I enjoyed this. Your videos are always so comforting and grounding.

You can usually get a really good variety of nice jars (mason and otherwise) at local thrift stores! Especially now that they're not quite as much of a shot Trendy Item as they were a few years ago

I just did the same thing in my kitchen. I removed all the winter elements and put in Spring/Easter colors. In May/June I will switch again to summer decor. It does the soul good to move with the seasons and celebrate the uniqueness of each.

Hi Kaetlyn! I too have been working on my garden now for about two weeks, patiently waiting and tending to my seedlings everyday. This is my first official garden bed and it has brought me immense joy. My fiancé has the larger one (we have four garden beds), one we have as our tomato garden bed, another as our strawberry bed that lives there year round, and I have a fresh bed. We have two smaller ones that I intend on growing in but we need to tend to it and add more potting soil. I’ll be growing bell peppers, carrots, zucchini, pickling cucumbers, jalapeños, butter-leaf lettuce, spaghetti squash and have recently trans-planted in a pot herbs and flowers for tea like chamomile, and hierba buena (sweet mint) and a little bit of basil. I’ve sewed in dill seeds and decided last minute on hibiscus as I grew up drinking it in my grandmother kitchen. It’s all so lovely! Gardening has truly brought me so much joy in this season of life. It’s created intentionality, some purpose for the time being and a connection to God. I feel like this is where I need to be right now. It’s the one thing I’ve been able to semi control during this season of life as I am preparing to marry my fiancé at the end of May. So much is up in the air but this garden and my soon to be covenant to my future spouse and the Lord are the moments in my life that are sparking inner joy and peace. Thank you for sharing your garden with us!
