I think a lot of people misunderstand what they mean when they say from 250,000 dollars so I’ll explain. If u already own the land and r looking to knockdown rebuild for 250,000 all I get is the house no landscaping finishes tiling carpeting or anything just painted walls and a few more things witch can differ from different builders. U can also buy different packages which obviously include different things such as nicer finishes tiling a pool kitchen installed and bathrooms etc all ranging in cost. Now if u were to buy this house brand new everything ready to go it would easily cost around a mil or more depending on the area u live in. Hoped this helped

Just so people are clear, this is not $250k outright. This would be just for the house with minimal features, any extras will cost you more plus the cost of land, which is more than $300k depending on where you live. This is easily a 1million dollar home. We are also in 2021, house prices have risen at least 100k in the last 12 months. It's ridiculous. Australia is a very expensive place to live, believe me.

Did you say air-conditioning is an upgrade???? Damn, my latitude is 26 degrees and it is hot as hell here, it is supposed to be the cool season of fall and it is still 32C here, it has to get much hotter at your 23 degrees latitude. A/C should be a standard installation!

100% - at the moment they're offering free AC and check this out, steel beams - usually they make them out of wood. The thing with all the added extras however is that they're generally overpriced, so that offer of $5k for $30k worth of AC, if you contact the AC installers directly they'd quote you $5-15k tops for a new build.

@@annaa3663 this house isn’t actually on sale, you basically pay this company to build the same exact home in your own plot of land. So this person is saying that even though the price of building the home is just 250k, you need to have already bought a 200k+ plot of land (and in Sydney the land is probably worth even double that) Im sure in Australia the houses are sold along with the plots of land too (just like in the rest of the world haha)

In Australia for a new build, you buy the land and then choose what house you want to build on it. Is fact it is two separate costs.

@@ozbrizzie8869 WHY??! It doesn’t make sense that way. You buy from a cooperate builder in the US. They mass produce houses and you pick one you like. Maybe you buy the land and home to be early before the house is built for a discount but it’s the same 5-8 house plans built by a corporate building company like Dr Horton or Pulte

This in not $250k, no way. It’s closer to $500k as is and, that’s just the build. Land would be another $1million at least. You’d be lucky to get into this for $1.6-$1.7m.

No way I sell land you can get this on a 600m2 block that you pay $200k for outside of Brisbane. $250k would be base inclusions without the quality fittings and landscaping etc. there would be additional fees on top but you could probably get the house and land package for $500k.

250K to get in the customers inside the door. Then close the door and fleece them with 700K citing pandemic, global issues. Thats how industry works. Buy an existing house, save yourselves few years of your life.

Wait they count the house price WITHOUT THE LAND?!? In the US this is a 400k house (pre biden housing bubble) easily. High end finishes on a medium sized house. Also modern sells for more here but assuming it’s a traditional style here an equivalent house would be 400k easily. BUT THAT INCLUDES LAND

Wooow 250,000 AU is crazy cheap which would transfer out to be 187,000 US, heck even if it was 250,000 US then it would still be crazy cheap, that’s a 450,000 US dollar home anywhere south east in of the US.
