Common plantain seller now changed his name into Timaya.... from a nobody,God made me a somebody and lift me higher...not just made me a big boy, but a very RICH boy... but I'm still that plantain seller, so even if you sell water or ride okada taxi, Jehova will someday make you prosper... Very humble of Timaya to give people hope by giving example with his life and how things will eventually change. If you believe in yourself....

O boy so many touching stories. My siblings and I sold different things; 'ice water' then graduated to 'pure water', 'soap', 'ice creams', 'water-proof 'etc. But now, all of us are graduates. Most of us are abroad doing very well. I am now a practicing doctor abroad after 1st degree in Naija. Thanks bro for this song, it relates to most of Nigerians.

I first heard this song 5 months ago while I was visiting my sister and ever since I’d fallen in love with it. I sleep to this song, wake up to it, have it in repeat when I drive to and from work. November 2017 still listening to it and I don’t it’s ever gonna get old. Love

He put on the CD n said that was his classmate back in Nigeria. never heard of him before but now whenever I listen to this song it brings me back to Spain dancing in the car with the open windows, wind in my hair n sun on my face. loooooove it
