This report is misleading. The airport is not going to be built on protected areas.

Hypocrysi at its best.Why dont you take a look at your countries that you have over 500 airports?We are just building the 2nd airport.Our country is mountainous and the places to build it are limited.

There are other places where the airport can be build. The region of Fer few kilometers away from Vlora is flat. Lack of land is not an argumen.

@@andin3720 yes. You're right. While I would rather have Tirana Airport expanded rather than have a new one in Vlore, I agree with you. That place is flat and doesn't have many mountains

First of all we dont need an airport but more care for our nature

Every big investment in out country billons of dollars in projects not build beacause if some stupid birds

Rich people and rich countries keep on telling to smaller countries what to do. Why don't they respect nature in their own countries over progress? How did albania become the country to have the last wild river in Europe? What happened to the other rivers of Europe? Where the airport is going to be built there is an existing military airport, that has been there for over 50 years. I agree we should protect nature but that shouldn't preclude the chance of development of small countries.

Komenti jot trregon gjith injoranzen e popullit Shqiptare. Prej njerezve si ty Shqiperia nuk ka per tu ba ndo nje her tamam. E kene shkaterruar at naturen e mrekullushme qe Zoti na ka than, cdo vend qe ka kap dora shqiptare esht ber ne nje shpifsin préj betoni. Te kishe nji cik trru do e kuptoje qe natura do mbetet atrazioni ma I kerkuar nga turistet. @@davidcopperfield2070 100 percent. We can balance economic gain with national preservation. All of this God given beauty must be maintained. Expanding Tirana Airport will not only stop the overcrowding, but will let our land be virgin and healthy. As Albanians we have to be the future and set an example for our children.
