Plans For This Channel
I've been really encouraged by the reaction to my channel in the last six months or so. I'd love to start producing:
- More interviews and debates
- Original video essays on philosophy and politics
- Chapter-by-chapter digests of classic science and philosophy texts
Please get in touch if you've any thoughts or suggestions. My email is clockworktinsoldier@hotmail.co.uk.

I really, really, hope you get to realise all of your plans. Philosophy of science could use more outreach to the public, and you're doing a good job at it.
I love your idea for tackling philosophers' texts, specifically the Bertrand Russell history of philosophies and their interplay with geopolitics. You do amazing interviews with tough topics so I can see you adding so much value to historical books that deserve a revitilization of interest! Fantastic plan!

Thanks so much, Peter! I know I'm taking my sweet time, but rest assured I'm aiming my entire life at this goal. I've taken a second job so I can get a new computer. My current one practically melted under the strain of editing the Deutsch interview...
These ideas are beautiful. I stumbled upon your channel, perhaps a year ago. I was looking into the constructor theory. But, I soon realised that it is a gem. All of the work you've done is phenomenal, and I am desperately waiting for more. Please go ahead and do what your mind tells you to, because your mind gives birth to beautiful things. :)

Anubhav, thank you! It means a lot.
Glad to see you back! All of them are excellent plans and ideas! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
I would love to see all those things! Especially a guided tour of Bertrand Russels" History of Western philosophy" and Roger Penrose "A guide to reality" would be brilliant because they are such dense but important books for a better understanding (of everything). I think I will only be able to appreciate reading Penroses book as a graduate physics student, but a youtube series would be great because I`m very curious about it as I guess many people are. It would also be interesting to hear what you do, study and so forth.
I am really looking forward to this. I think this could grow into something big given time. This is not the kind of content that will take of like a forrest fire but it will be a steady flame once it starts burning. Keep it up!

Thank you Greger! I have a few weeks off work this autumn. I hope to use them to make some progress on this.
I have greatly enjoyed watching your interviews with David Deutsch, and it sounds like you have some excellent ideas for directions to go in the future. I especially like your idea of doing chapter-by-chapter digests of great philosophical / scientific works. Since the visuals are not a critical part of your videos, I think you should definitely consider making your content available as a podcast: this makes your content accessible to more viewers, and you would not need to change/edit your current format at all (other than removing the video part of it).
I hope you realise your plans and I look forward to many delightful moments listening to the philosophical and scientific arguments. I stumbled upon your Channel via politics, I saw your interview with David Deutsch about Brexit and loved it. Although I am a committed Remainer I think it is important to hear any considered arguments for the opposite side. I would love it if you could find someone with deep knowledge of EU law and the workings of the EU, perhaps a high level civil servant such as Ivan Rogers, to respond to David Deutsch’s arguments.
More videos connecting philosophical analysis to real world problems and issues. This why I think the David Deutsch video on Brexit is so good - it is actually highly valuable for people who have since the referendum been wrestling with the same fundamental questions he poses and he gives a great answer which probably would have swayed many remain voters (like myself) at the time.

benyaminewanganyahu I hear you!
I would love to see a video essay about Sam Harris' free Will position
Yes! Do one about Sam Harris like Brett Hall did. More of those would be great 🤗👌🏻🤗 Your voice is really good and you are a good explainer. Keep it up 🥰🥰🥰
Looking forward to hearing what you have to say. It would be nice to hear you beyond our hanging out at HowtheLightGetsIn.

@@joeboswellphilosophy That will be more likely once I move across the pond, which hopefully, is a nearer goal. :-)
Eagerly waiting ... We need nuanced academic content and some popular eyeball grabbing content ( yes , bring in Dawkins and Harris for views) A balance between them would be perfect .
Be great to hear your rebuttal to Sam Harris on free will. I personally agree with him entirely on the subject but always want to hear good arguments against it. Looking forward to the new content.
