Plano East Senior High School is a public secondary school in Plano, Texas serving high school juniors and seniors, as well as freshmen and sophomores as a part of the IB World School.
The Plano East Band consists of four concert bands (The Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band & Varsity Band), the Marching Panthers and a Jazz Ensemble. The bands are led by Evelio Villarreal, Director of Bands, John Brennan, Associate Director of Bands, and Ryan Albert, Associate Director of Bands. Under the guidance of the directors, the band has become one of the most decorated bands in Texas and has firmly established a "Tradition of Excellence".
