I love this so much! I've been looking into Weeki Wachee Springs to take my four-year-old daughter that is obsessed with mermaids! But, my dad taught us at a young age how to kayak. So I'm hoping to make a whole weekend out of the whole thing!

Thank you guys so much for all info! We usually just do Rock Springs because it's 30 minutes from where we are in Orlando. But I'm wanting to explore a little bit more! Thank you guys for all of your info and your beautiful videos! And if you know anyone who is single and wants someone to travel in a kayak with them, just letting you know... I'm Your girl! I would love to find a good Florida boy that would love to hang out with me and do these type of things. LOL! Halfway a joke, but seriously, this is what I want to do with my life. Just like the two of you are. And I would love to find someone who wants to share this with me. But thank you so much for sharing! You guys are amazing!

Roger's Park says it opens at 9am. Can you go there earlier to park and launch our own kayak

Rogers park is scheduled to reopen on July 20 (work on the canal). After that it should be open 24/7.

Thank you so much for your video, we have been looking for spring runs that we can go upstream and downstream, most people rent or get shuttles everywhere, we have a channel but only have been on north Suwanne River it’s Ryan Family Productions

I just started watching this video, so before you name them let me see if I can guess the four: Itchetucknee, Silver River, Juniper Creek .... and the one that flows out of Rock Springs (can't remember the name of that river). Those are my top four spring runs to kayak. Now I'll watch the rest of the video and see how I did. :-)

Only two out of four, but with the honorable mentions it was 100% LOL. Great video and the bonus adventures are awesome.

This looks like a really fun idea. Love your videos. How do we go about renting the kayak? Can you share the Website? We are traveling from Massachusetts and would like to get as much information as possible before we arrive.

@@lisabaker5716 Juniper is a great paddle! It is considered one of the tougher paddles because of the dense canopy and narrow waterway. The challenge is renting. Right now, Juniper Springs is not offering rentals or shuttle returns. You may want to check Ocala Adventures to see if they offer rentals for that area. If you can find rentals, you should park and launch at Juniper Wayside. I recommend paddling against the current for as long as you can. It’s a challenge, but not terrible. Then when you’ve had enough, turn around and float back to your car at Juniper Wayside. It’s really a fantastic paddle. I hope that helps! If you want a spring in the area where you can rent right there at the spring, check out Silver Glen, Silver Springs, Alexander Springs or Rainbow River. 🙌❤️

What time do you need to get to Blue Run to launch? Is it crowded?

Blue Run is a free, public lot. There’s also not a lot of spaces. Only like 20 (ish). So earlier the better all summer. To be safe I’d say get there before 8am.

I've seen monkeys on Juniper run also

Good information just a few things that were inaccurate. It's true they want to tell you that you cannot swim in the state park of weeki wachee etc. This is a navigatable waterway and the State of Florida doesn't own nor can they control people getting in the water and swimming. they can only legislate what goes on on dry land.

What about alligators? I work with people from Florida who say that nobody in Florida go in fresh water.

Hi! Yes there are alligators around. They usually mind their own business. As a swimmer, stay off the banks and out of the dark water. But they are definitely around!

Plenty of people swim in the fresh water springs in Florida!! I go every week day morning BECAUSE so many people are there later and on weekends especially 🏝️

Try econfina creek canoe livery. In NW FL. There's many beautiful springs to stop and swim,also dozens of beautiful lakes and hiking trails, equestrian trails, campgrounds etc in the area
