Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, originally included as a temporary provision, grants special autonomous status to the region of Jammu and Kashmir. Enacted in 1949, it allows the state to have its own constitution, flag, and governing authority, with the central government's jurisdiction limited to defense, foreign affairs, and communications. Over time, Article 370 has been a subject of controversy, with debates over its effectiveness in maintaining stability in the region versus accusations of perpetuating separatism. Its abrogation in August 2019 by the Indian government sparked both celebration and protest, significantly altering the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.

Maybe you missed two things, one is how nehru implemented 370 without the consent of Parliament. That in itself was unconstitutional and autocratic. Also, you SHOULD have mentioned the contribution of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Atal Bihari Vajpayee since you started from the pre-independence history.

I am from West Bengal and I am a student and tomorrow I will vote for the first time in my life. I don't know much about politics. So I have been doing a bit of research on politics for a few days to come to a final decision on choosing the right party. It will never change bro because From my pov(most probably india's) if kashmir falls into hands of pakistan then pakistan will have direct connection with china which is dangerous for india and pakistan wants kashmir for the same reason and once china and pakistan are connected then india will be trapped from all 4 sides, already china is advancing in some border regions and if the successfully lock india from all sides then china will target AP next.
