I love that you actually buy the clothes that you wear and don’t just rely on pr gifts. Some KZreadrs show such expensive clothes and make it seem like they buy it but they are gifted all items. You are a realist and relatable

I loved the striped shirt with the leopard skirt. When you first showed it I wasn’t sure but when you were wearing it I thought it looked great. I think the black sandals like the red ones would look great!

this morning I grabbed a pair of leggings that had the least amount of dog hair on them from off the floor and a questionable sweater from the hamper. Your videos really exemplify the polar opposite of my existence and ability to adult.

I really liked the striped equiptment shirt and the leopard skirt and it would go with your acne Jensen boots or the cloe ones. I'm really excited that you're doing daily videos, it's great :)

I think if you are going to mix patterns, you still have to have something in common, like colour. If the striped shirt had had a colour from the skirt (say brown and white), then I think it would have looked better. Just my 2 cents' worth!

Love the idea of planning for the week. I live in Seattle, WA USA and the weather here for me is I have a year around capsule wardrobe without storing anything. The addition for me in winter I add a cardigan or sweater over my shirt or T-shirt. I have some winter coats but a closet they stay in year around with scarfs, hats, gloves. All these things stay in my dresser. So I got my capsule to year around and store nothing. I think consider your area to develop your capsule wardrobe. My mother asks do you have anything to wear yes because every 3 months if I have not worn it give to good home and add what is missing🤭 Love your capsule wardrobe and how you organize and utilize it❤️

Basic with a twist is my favorite style! For the last combination, it would be great some ankle boots in colour (not black), maybe purple, some shades of blue... I love mixed patterns!

I love these daily videos. Highlight of my day! I love the leopard print skirt with the striped shirt. I’d do that with the tights and black boots if cooler or black strappy sandals if warm.

I loved the stripe and leopard print, it was a fun departure without looking totally out of character for you. What about the black version of those red sandals, didn't you say you had them in multiple colours? They might ground the outfit without looking heavy like a pair of black boots might :)

Your style videos really get me inspired on how to turn my wardrobe on it’s head and try different looks. I’d say the black jumper with the skirt but with the topshop leopard print heels would look so cool! It’s like a match but a clash at the same time ☺️

Thanks for the inspiration! I've planned my outfit for tomorrow; going to wear my version of the leopard midi skirt with jumper. Once I've got used to wearing a bolder print I'm going to try it with a striped shirt as I loved the look (but the boots were too much). Just need to build up some confidence! You’re timing was the perfect inspiration I needed. Current situation: half of my wardrobe (my favorite half) is in the laundry bin after a trip abroad, and I have three days of special events this week. Going to need some dedicated thought and planning to get through the week. Also, I think the striped top would work well with the skirt, tights and boots you ended on!

So I bought the Topshop low ankle arctic boots and they are the PERFECT dupe for the Spirit boots- but they have lower heels which make them the perfect height. They are so comfy I wear them all day

Totally agree that the snakeskin boots took that last outfit too far. I think a black boot would have made it totally work, personally. For my wardrobe and weather, I would do a short sleeved stripe top with that skirt and a solid colored cardigan or blazer so that it tones down the clash of patterns a lil bit, but still with a black shoe. Then again, literally all the shoes I own are black, so there’s that. Love your style and loving the Daily Edit, Anna!

Love these types of videos. I plan my outfits every Sunday. I iron everything and hang the outfits in the guest room closet. I cannot take last minute decisions in the morning with 5 people leaving the door for school and work.

That's an interesting exercise - what to wear when your fave clothes are in the wash? In December I bought a MANGO co-ord with the thought I'd wear it 3 different ways, you know, one week together, the other - the top with jeans, the skirt with a white shirt... But here I am, every Monday, getting excited to wear them together, and the other 4 days I just wear something else :) Guess what I'll be trying this week? XD Thanks for the inspo, as usual X

Oooo yes I’d love to try this! I’ve been seeing a lot of the printed silk skirt trend paired with black, heeled above the knee boots. New subscriber, so I’m not 100% sure if you have something similar in your wardrobe, but I love how it covers the legs similar to how you did with the tights. Just a bit different!

When you are doing monochrome outfits, particularly cream, do you match the color exactly or take any version of the color?

You MUST do the stripes with the leopard print! I think any black shoe would work, but my favourite suggestion below is the Chloe Susanna boots.

I liked the stripes and leopard print and think it might work with different shoes if you have the confidence to pull it off. Having said that, I would opt for the all black look you went for. When I worked I always used to plan my outfits for the week. It makes getting dressed and rushing out the door so much easier. I’m sort of retired/having a gap year until I work out what to do next, so I’m usually in jeans most days.

When I work from home I wear lounge pants and a sweater (jumper). I admire you for wearing real outfits! 😂 Do you own any pumps or the sling back heels in black? I feel like a plain black pump is classic and goes with absolutely everything, and you can find them with lower/chunkier heels for comfort. They’re low cut so they lengthen the legs but they’re close toed so they can be worn when it’s chillier or with tights. I think that could make the last outfit look a little more sleek with either top option.

someone mentioned your green jumper with the leopard skirt and i totally agree i think it would look great (and Erica does love a good pop of colour!) tbh i think you could get away with the topshop boots! but if not i think the acne jenson boots would suit the outfit too :) love watching your styling videos, i'm about to go back to uni and think i should start planning my outfits ahead of time so we'll see how i go haha xx

The key to the mix print is to use a belt as a transition, for the stripe shirt and silk skirt; of course, with a basic shoe.

Maybe it would be too warm, but your green jumper and the leopard skirt would look pretty cool!

although I was hesitant at first, I really loved the striped shirt and realisation par skirt together - it looked absolutely fab, but I agree that the snakeskin boots were not the right match. I think either the Acne Jensen boots or the By Far heels in black would look amazing with it. I also think that a midi skirt/dress looks great with leather knee boots, which you don't have (to my knowledge). That is something that I continue to search for for my own wardrobe.

Really liked this video! Made me feel inspired to try the same for my upcoming week. I also think the striped shirt and the leopard print skirt worked very well together. I would pair themwith the high-heeled black boots that you put on later, but maybe wear a thinner pair of tights with it? Maybe a 20 denier would work?

I think for pattern matching there needs to be a colour in common throughout the prints to tie them together! So black shoes to match the black stripes and black spots on your skirt...LOVE your wardrobe!

Try the stripe shirt, the Réalisation Par skirt and the Acne Jensen boots. Try it with and without the tights.

I really liked the striped shirt with the leopard skirt! I agree about the shoes being a bit much though. Perhaps some black boots might work better? Maybe add a belt between the shirt and the skirt to tie things together? A red or brown belt might be interesting options.
