✨ ABOUT ME ✨
Hi, I'm Katie and I may plan a bit differently from others. I am neurodivergent and planning around chronic illnesses, so I write in pencil and leave things very flexible. I also misspeak and misspell a lot due to auditory processing and dyslexia. I use tarot and oracle cards to help me navigate my upcoming week along with a separate vertical life planner, work planner, and daily journal. I also love to do tiny tidies around the home in unique ways that work for my brain and energy.

Brilliant, love the 'spinning or stuck' division, covers it all! So helpful. It's a strategy grid for anything life brings along! Really practical.

Thank you for this! I've been energy planning ever since my ADHD diagnosis a few years ago. I'm completely time blind and have extreme fluctuations in my energy and focus levels. The way it's totally random too made it impossible for me to plan anything for years and i felt like such a failure. Then it dawned on me that I need to use energy the way people use time. So I "energy block," meaning I have 2 to-do lists, I separate low and high brain power tasks. I usually get 1 or 2 high energy periods a day and now when they hit (they can be random or not, depending on the day), I switch off everything else and tackle the high energy tasks of the day (if planned) or week (from my weekly list). My colleagues marvel at how organized I am at work, but really, it's just jumping between those 2 modes and accepting that i can't do boring tasks when in high focus and I can't focus if I'm in low brain power mode 🤷🏼‍♀️ Been a life saver for me.

Yes! Totally agree. I do the same thing having different tasks depending on how I am feeling. Thanks so much for sharing. 💕

Thank you for this! I have Cerebral Palsy, and being mindful of my energy is something I have started doing the past couple years. I really loved the "ventures" and "environment" divisions as I am also a homebody. I really related to the different energy levels too, and I can't wait to try this own myself. Thanks for sharing and explaining this system, and I look forward to watching more.

The way you used the colors is very attractive to me! I tried for 3 years to make categories in a Planner Pad, and then put the tasks in a to-do list, but this year I have let them go. Mostly because I want to use them when I am called to, but not as the first thing I do each week to set up my planner. Also I am TOTALLY prone to a freeze shut down mode. I’ve had chronic fatigue since I was 12 along with a bunch of other chronic illnesses both genetic and from having Lyme. So I totally relate to your content! I too think very much as a spectrum as a sphere :) I mean, that’s how I feel, a part of me will be fatigued and another part of me feels great. I too have sensory problems, am neurodivergent and have a history working on the web :) maybe that’s why I relate 😅 And the movie you were thinking of is maybe Inside Out?

Thank you so much for sharing 💕 Yes, movie was Inside Out! Yes, sometimes it helps to color code and use categories, and sometimes it’s way too much and you need to let it go. I am on the fence. Sometimes I am glad I use them “most” of the time because it helps me remember something, but then it also reminds me that life doesn’t always fit into a box and to keep it simple. That’s a lot to deal with but also so happy to meet someone who has a lot in common. Thanks so much for joining us here! It’s a very supportive group. Hope you have a wonderful rest of your week ✨

I stumbled across your channel and am so glad that I did. I have rheumatoid arthritis and ADHD, and often wonder how I’m going to get through the day and finish my tasks with what few spoons I have left. Thank you so much for this.

i'm autistic and chronically ill, this was super helpful and inspiring! 🖤✨ i would love to make a chart like this for my emotions vs. my spoons. like if i'm low energy and angry, i can have a snack or change my clothes. if i'm anxious and high energy, i can clean or scream into a pillow. a cheat sheet like that would be super useful! i'm currently doing this similar to how yours is set up, but with my own categories! i'm making a rough draft to make flash cards 🤩

❤️‍🩹 Hi Katie - This is a beautiful video and speaks to me on so many levels! I see so much of myself in what you were describing… in a good way - I think I learned a lot about myself here! Thank you so much! 💕 I will definitely come up with a similar version for myself.
