From the USA---my favorite news round up of the week! Well done!

As an American with generations of service personnel in the family I was impressed with the royal family and the love and caring they showed. I think on those special remembrance days there should be be a moratorium on campaigning.

I look forward to this programme each week and, yet again, it hasn’t failed to give me a great laugh whilst discussing fairly serious situations. Thank you Mike and Co for providing such great content.

I am an American and could not agree more with the please have the President take a cognitive test. It must be performed by an independent medical team and not by the hand picked doctors. In all honesty shame on the entire Biden family as they should be brought up on elder abuse charges.

I agree. But both Trump and Biden need to take independent cognitive tests. How you’d make that work with all the corrupt politicians I don’t know. It needs to be a proper test. Not man, woman, camera, tv BS.

I concur I think regardless of your age as cognitive decline can be seen at any age, should be part of thew requirements to run for any politically elected official at the governor and higher level.

In Australia when my elderly father was dying from a brain tumour, they would come in everyday and asked him what day it was, who was prime minister, and one more. My father would say I don't care about politics, I don't know who won the recent election because I didn't even want to vote, and it is called "today". There was one more question they used to ask - spell "world" backwards, and they actually change the order of the questions around so these pesky elders don't memorise the answers!

I don’t know how it is in the UK, but here in America, the history education given to students is sorely lacking. Which makes me sad, since that was my favorite subject in school.

I'm a a passionate Forces supporter, very proud of our armed forces and veterans and history in the UK , it appalls me when kids haven't a bloody clue , someone thought the battle of Britain was chuffing video game , Battle of the bulge a diet plan etc our history is pants plus it's getting that we are losing our heritage to the WOKE brigade

As an octogenarian I take great satisfaction in knowing that ‘youth demand’ has got to live in the world they are creating. I haven’t.
