2pac had faced criticism for the duality he had, a friend of mine once complained about a single he purchased.. one side had Keep Your Head Up, a song that praised women, & the b side was I Get Around, a song about being a player towards women. I think what we often miss about Gemini is that if Mercury is the messenger, it's not simply about trickery, but perhaps they teach by presenting us with a choice.

I'm a big Dylan fan, so it's interesting to see that he had mentioned Shakespeare and Bette Davis in two different songs. I have this natally conjunct the moon in the second house square to Saturn. I am a poet - received a fellowship to the University of Oregon for the MFA in poetry. Nice to hear something positive about my Venus. ;) Edited to add: what you said about the trickster also resonated. One of my poetry professors characterized my poetry as having the quality of a "snake charmer," in its syntax, lineation, and rhythm. If I had known this then, I could have said that it was my destiny. ;) Thank you!

I have Venus in Gemini, and everything I read or watch about it is the most unrelatable descriptors and qualities ever. It really, really weird me out.

Could you explain a bit more how to relate Venus and Mercury together in a chart when Venus is in Gemini? How would Mercury influence how Venus behaves in this case? Obviously Venus is already behaving in a Gemini/Mercurial manner, but if your mercury is in say, Leo, would it be, I don't know, more dramatic and ostentatious about it? Just wondering...

It's hard to explain without a concrete chart example because it can become quite complicated. If Mercury is in Leo in, say, the 2nd house and Venus is in Gemini, then Venus may represent a very talkative and dramatic personality, yes...but that's only the psychological level of an interpretation...it may mean that they are a financial manager or that they are quite good at using their social skills to generate wealth, etc...

@@Adam-Elenbaas This response, while listening to you speak of potential challenges Venus may have in gemini; along with your comments of mercury finding joy in the 1st or at the horizon- being poised at the interface between earth and heavens that he alone has fluidity in traversing; brings me to ask you to expound upon the situation that arises when venus/ mercury are conjunct the ascendant in Gemini. This is particularly interesting to me as this puts Venus, also in power, as at the ascendant so close to Taurus, where it is also in its dignity.. although not at best in the 12th. The things I read/ seen seem shallow and disjointed. If too broad a topic, perhaps a video in future? It seems this placement, given the unique nature of mercury as the traveller, is a somewhat special one

Wanted to comment that I have heard that males do look to venus; and find emotional security looking to their, or their mother's, moon sign; females are attracted to men mirroring their mars, but should look to JUPITER for their husband or long term placement..
