@@getschwifty5537 The whole script was almost definitely written by a human. Only the still images are likely made by AI which created the images from the text of those parts of the script. Hopefully at least that much is from AI. Maybe all he can honestly credit to AI is the crappy speech synthesizing and animating lip movements to match the speech synthesis. Crediting AI to something is akin to crediting magic because it doesn't give any detail on how something is made. It would be much more impressive if something interactive was set up to demonstrate the flexibility and ease of use of new software to create entertaining content. Anyone can make a video with lots of manual effort and in conventional ways and yet claim it was made by AI to get more views. Publishing a website that lets anyone make whatever they want too quickly or too cheaply to use human effort proves that some much more impressive software is in it.

I legit watch it multiple times a day... it's wild, it reminds me of the earlier days of content-based internet culture like in the mid 2000s, you'd come across so much creative, quirky, silly stuff and it was addictive. I have my doubts that he made it himself, the hands on those guys are too well done for it to be entirely AI. 0:40 the hand on the right is the only one that looks AI generated because that whole fucked up pinky finger.

This is the kind of commercial they would have made in the late 90s/early 2000s.

I like how 0:34 implies that they aren't necessarily overweight, but are actually beings made of mountain dew. Something you'd probably see in a Super Bowl ad.

I only just now realized that the first two Dewnauts are different people.
