Planet Coaster vs No Limits 2: Coaster Comparison

Using a few mods and a third party program, Planet Coaster can be just as good as No Limits 2 . . . at least if you design the coaster in No Limits first. I love both of these games, and I'm definitely going to use this method to build my coasters in Planco from here on out. This whole project only took me 2 days with the help of some mods.

I used No Limits throughout highschool, to the point of obsession. When NL2 came out it was such a big transition in building mechanics that I gave up and stopped all together. Glad to see it's still kicking TWENTY years later. I picked up Planet Coaster and Parkitect a couple years ago, they're a good middle ground between RCT and og No Limits for me. If Planco 2 doesn't come soon, I may have to try again!

The NL2PC software was a revolution for planco. Its nice to see one time where there isn't a war between NL2 comunnity and planco but rather that one can serve the other. Especially when planco is not taken seriously despite Theme Park Wirral creation or Mistize for exemple. It was perfect for me since I was able to create layout that were realistic in design for park in planco in collaboration with scenery and backstage builder. It was making me feel like I was responding to a request and the need to be adaptitive of the space.

If you want realism in Planet Coster then you need the Realisim Overhaul mod. It aims to provide the realisim needed. Also allows coaster launches for all coster types and any train car on most coaster types. Not sure if it's as realistic as NL2 though but should help if you want the building style that PC uses. There is a way to export out of PC and/or NL2? Is it possible to export to industry standard 3D file formats such as Colada? I want to build the coaster and run the sim in PC or NL2 but export a Colada file out with the meshes, UV maps, textures, and keyframe data from the coster sim, bring it into C4D where I can add a lot of detail to the 3D models, much more detailed and photoreal texturing and shading, lighting, etc., and render it out to a high quality rendered animation.
