i believe it was on the first one of those streams a few months back. they didn’t say what the game was so it could be something else, just that they’ll announce it and release it this year. they usually seem to happen in the last month of the year.

I heard them mention an announcement on their Frontier Unlocked livestream. If we're lucky, we might get some news on June 26th. If you want to see it yourself, you can check out their first-ever stream.

I find it funny how 3 days after you say that it is unlikely planco 2 exists, a massive leak comes out and basically confirms its existence.

You were one of the first PlanCo channels that got me hooked on the game and I can understand your own frustrations at not seeing an announcement or something. The points you made in this video, my friend said the same thing to me after we were bummed watching the show yesterday, so you're not alone. I still have hope that sooner or later it'll come out and like one of the comments below said, I agree, I don't want it to play on a super beefed out rig that only a select few can play it & I don't want it to suck either. So, I'm content letting them take their time in doing it right. In the meantime, we have Park Studios that's out on Steam and it isn't a cash grab but a passion project and I've been keeping tabs on what they hope to do in that game & I'm hyped for it! Also in the meantime, we still have amazing content creators still making crazy cool creations in PlanCo, contests & challenges going on in the various PlanCo communities that have me hyped to see what's created, so until we know more about PlanCo2... let's all keep our creativity going in PlanCo & having fun! ☮& ♥~ Smiling 🙂

Frontier posted for investors when they announced JWE2 that their own IP CMS game’s development is going well and it will be announced in the ‘coming months’. Whether it’s PlanCo2 or a new Planet game or something else entirely we will know very soon.

No, no, Rudy. In the January Frontier Unlocked (the first one), around minute six, the guy said that the new CMS would come out in 2024, even when the FY25 spans from June 1st 2024 to May 31 2025. So, I'm 100% confident that the new CMS will release this year. Also, since JWE2 was announced in June, I just think the new game will be announced this month. Maybe they'll follow the same strategy they did with the console edition of Planet Zoo, they might release the trailer the day prior to Frontier Unlocked. I'm still hopeful

@@RudiRennkamel I know, yeah, it's all confusing at this point, but we'll have to wait and see, Frontier seems to be very secretive about this new game. Whether it be PC2 of not, God knows, but they seem to trust in its success.

It's so frustrating...They keep putting time into games that are absolutely not worthwhile and that they can visibly see will not be a success like Planet Coaster had/has. How they proceed just seems very stupid to me. A “normal” company profits from seasons, number of players, promotional stunts, etc. They release random things at random times and keep being so secretive. They don't realize that the excitement is off and we want to know everything. If they expect us to keep buying their games at those “usually” high prices, then we also expect a little more transparency. It's like talking to a wall when you want answers from them. I keep saying it, they know what players want, but they don't respond to it. This is a very stupid move. If they were going to do it for the money anyway, doing it this way is certainly stupid.

Also, someone else mentioned that the advertising at some gaming events can be very expensive. With Frontier trying to save costs they may announce it in a different way to before. With an active audience an announcement through social media and press releases may be enough.

thats a very good point too, but equally very frustrating. if they aint have money to get into the digital summer festival, it would be a very worrying fact tbh. I don´t know the exact fees, but its MUCH less than Gamescom (these I know and they are ridiculous)

It's ok, I knew if I got hyped I would likely be disappointed but it was worth feeling like there's something to look forward to even if it makes me sad eventually. That's how pretty much everything is in life.

Really want to have PlanetCoaster 2 but I kind of wonder if it even is on the radar. I wasn't impressed with the PC Gamer show, but I wasn't impressed with the Summer Gaming Fest either.

dont let content creators build false expectations and create hype around something that hasnt even been confirmed yet officialy. ive said it time and time again that this is not good for the community :/ they could at least wait for an official announcement and then post these kinds of videos, but thats just my personal opinion on this matter

The next two Frontier Unlocked are June 26th and July 31st. I'm pretty sure that either one of those dates is when PC2, will be shown. If it does release this year, then June 26th makes the most sense due to marketing; but we will see.

Their financial year just ended (May 31), so they are announcing their unaudited accounts coming Wednesday. It's later (around September/October) when they release the full audited results, and also hold their annual shareholders meeting. That's how public companies operated in the UK.

Can everyone please stop attacking Rudi, both here on KZread and on Reddit. You guys are probably one-dayers who come to watch 1 video of him and then form an opinion. If you have been following him for a while, then you know that this is his content that he creates to speculate on things together with us.

This reminds me of the whole 2019 wing coaster rumor for kings dominion shortly after volcano was removed. This one fansite was absolutely certain that a B&M wing coaster was replacing it the very next season but ended up being proven dead wrong and in the process it really damaged the site's credibility as a result. Of course the coaster is now coming as a 2025 project however and is currently under construction but when that same fansite first made mention of it due to leaked renderings of the ride station I totally discounted it as another rumor that had no merit to back it up until now of course.

That's fine don't worry, I can wait a little longer and at least it don't seems like the idea got scrapped or something I think they will announced it on a frontier unlocked because it's weird how they decided that this year they will talk to us every month and I think they told us that we will get more news there haven't been that hyped for a game launch since valorant so that's nice hoping and waiting that much for a game, I'm sure that when we will get news we will all be super happy and it will be awesome

So here's my warped speculation on PC2. I'm not as worried about not getting Planet Coaster 2 as I am about getting a $#!t PC2. To be more specific, a S#!t PC2 that will take some ultra high-end, beefed-to-the-MAX system to run it. That's a double whammy. If you are going to release a $#!t game, at least make it playable on a $#!t system (CO, anyone??????). Seriously, though, that has me more worried than not getting the game at all. Yeah, CS2 has left a really bad taste in my mouth.

If planco 2 dont get announced soon, you can always try out Theme Park Tycoon 2 👀 Its better than you think...

Hey, wake up. Since 2017/2018 we've been hearing every year in the summer and just before Christmas that Plantet Coaster 2 is coming, but as you know, nothing happens. No company can be so stupid that it doesn't want to see that the market wants a product for years and then doesn't create and sell it. I think Planet Coaster is dead and we should look for a good alternative.

Not going to lie at this point if the announcement is anything but Planet Coaster 2 I'm going to be bitterly disappointed.

no park studio is something I dont see reaching this level ever. I wish them all the best, but Planet Coaster is an A+ game. With flaws yes, but one of the better games of the last decade. Quite a stretch

They really guarded the development of PC2 and didn't let any leaks out that it was real except for some gaming sites that had it listed with other games. I really enjoy amusement/theme park building games and PC2 looks like the best one yet. And it has water parks! I liked Soaked! in RCT3 but the graphics are dated and you are restricted to a grid when building.

Indeed a downer we didnt hear anything last weekend. However its confirmed that a new game will be released this year so an announcement cant be far off anymore. Its just fingers crossed PlanCo2 is the announcement. If another game is announced then PlanCo2 wont see daylight within the next 2 years i guess. However, im optimistic for planco2 #soon due to reasons discussed in previous video's and a few reasons of my own.

I really hope they bring planet coaster 1 to the ipad. They even supported atari with that on RTC3 once they already had made planet coaster.

I tried to tell everyone that it wasn't happening but I guess you all had to find out the hard way. Frontier is done with this particular IP and odds are more likely than not that they're not going to resume it at all.

instead of creating a video claiming the game will drop soon, only to then upload a follow up saying you were wrong, why not simply wait for official announcement and info instead? ive already commented on many other videos about planco 2 speculations, and i want to once more say how much i appreciate all the planco content creators, however this blind hyping up of nothing is really unnecessary and builds a hype that can actually cause danage either by putting pressure on the devs or create false expectations on the viewers side. i understand we are all waiting on the game eagerly and content creators need to talk about news etc, but like i said many times we dont even have an official confirmation about the game beeing worked on or a planned release of planco 2. at this point to me personally it feels like grinding clicks as much as possible. this will probably be the last time i click on one of these videos rudi, tut mir leid...

there won´t be any other. I am just simply craving so so much. And I was super super certain about this. I also find this the perfect example of selective perception. If you check my channel, I made exactly 1 video about planet coaster within the last year. In between i created almost 100 videos of creative builds, tutorials, and stuff that takes super long to make, won´t make many views and is the opposite of clickbait. But sure, if you make 1 genuine video with genuine arguments, people unsub and hate on you because you do clickbait. While the same people keep clicking on screaming people that milk every topic. All I´m saying is, this is by any means made to grind anything or so, its my genuine hope and passion for a potential successor. If people don´t want that, i´m fine. Thats the Internet and I can´t do much about it LOL
