Funny thing about planes is that both the paint and coating/external alloy/metal is made to withstand multiple lightning strikes, if you've ever gone on a flight before your plane is likely to have been struck by lightning at least once in its lifetime :D

The sad part is that lightning doesn't affect planes because they are a closed metal body and will surge around it. A bird that flies into a turbine is way more dangerous.

True that happened to me once I thought I would of died😥

I know this by now is quite old, but i have a suggestion, when you do something like this, like acting out the accident, then the rescue, maybe add bodies into it, or replace the three of you with npcs when you do the rescue.:? just as an idea.

If you're ever a situation where you're playing get struck by lightning and you're landing in the water just don't put the landing gear down that will rip off the landing gear and get water into the cabin

Injed it will and flaps 5 if landing in water and if a plane gets struck by lightning it just gives it more power and it still flys

you actually should not lower your landing gear while crash landing into water because they have a chance to brake into the cabin and damage passengers
